Kilimanjaro Machame route Trekking and Hiking Trips

I always dreamed of conquering Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, and the team has been a great partner in fulfilling this dream. I chose the Machame Route because it's a little more challenging but offers a lot of beautiful scenery. The sunsets of Shira and walking through the mist of the Barranco Wall - all in one word, it was a wonderful experience. Guides and porters were always on hand; they handled everything from the pitch of the tent to the cooking of the food perfectly. I'm grateful to this team.

In May, I took some days off work for vacation in Arusha, Tanzania with Habari adventures. Entry point was Kilimanjaro airport before a visit to Serengeti and Kilimanjaro summit. On our way to Serengeti/Kilimanjaro, the Habari guides felt like old friends. We shared a lot of stories, including local legends which I really enjoyed. I had a superb safari, with well organised tour guides. The journey was tiresome, but the team was always present and very supportive. Every tiresome safari (adventure) was compensated with delicious meals and snacks. Thank you Habari adventures for this wonderful experience. I will surely come back.

Together with my daughter, I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route at the beginning of June 2025 – and what an unforgettable adventure it turned out to be! From the very first contact, the tour operators inspired confidence: excellent communication, clear information, and a warm welcome upon arrival. Our team of guides, porters, and cooks was exceptionally professional, friendly, and dedicated. They not only ensured our safety but also created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the entire climb. The route itself was breathtakingly beautiful. Every day brought new landscapes – from lush rainforest to alpine desert, and finally reaching the summit: a snow-covered Uhuru Peak. The guidance from our guides was invaluable; they constantly monitored our health and acclimatization and kept us motivated during the toughest moments. Thanks to their support, my daughter and I ultimately stood on the summit of Kilimanjaro – an emotional and proud moment that we will both cherish forever. The organization of meals, camp setup, and daily planning was impeccable. It’s incredible how much comfort the team was able to provide, even at high altitude. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to take on this special challenge. The combination of professional leadership and warm, personal attention makes all the difference. Thank you, team, for an experience that we – as father and daughter – will never forget!

Safe, professional, nice team, good food (felt like five stars on the mountain. I still don't know how they brough the eggs up to the camps), nice atmosphere and on the mountain: one team! It would be helpfull to know the questions of this survey beforehand so I would have known where to put additonal information on the guide how was singing while we were going up to the summit. His good mood helped a lot. I'm very glade that Robin brought Graham safely back to Stella Maris. Thank you for that. Each and everyone from the team was doing an incredible job!

It was the greatest experience of my life so far? all the guys that climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with the group were outstanding.
