Kilimanjaro Machame route Tours in October 2026

We had an incredible experience on the Machame Route to the Summit of Mount Kilimanjaro! The Team put together by this local travel specialist was amazing, with our guides Benedict and Brighton taking care of us and adapting to our strengths and weaknesses, and the cook Adam and the waiter James providing us with delicious food three times a day. The porters were carrying our bags and all the gear, tents, food and water, and everything was set up perfectly by the time we reached the camps in the afternoon. The trip with this agency is supposed to be a budget trip, which we did not feel at all: We got hot water twice a day to wash ourselves, the tent was spacious and the meals were lush. Two things which I did not like about booking this trip: First, there are non-optional "tips" for all the staff included, which you have to pay at the end of the trip. These are roughly 10 USD for a porter, 15 USD for a cook and 20 to 25 USD for a guide, per day. So for two people doing the trip these are another 700 to 800 USD (combined) in "tips", which you pay on top of the whole booking fee. This is true for any agency you book with, however it needs to be declared on the trip description rather than in some email three weeks after booking. Second, the organiser was extremely slow in replying to our questions. Some of our questions were never answered. In case that happens to you also, I would recommend asking for the organiser's phone number.

We had an unforgettable experience doing the Machame Route up to the peak of Kilimangjaro with this local travel specialist. We were accompanied by an amazing team, including our supportive and professional guides, Benedict and Brighton, who took good care of us and helped us to reach the summit. Without the super tasty food cooked by Adam we wouldn't have had the strength to accomplish the mission. The real heroes of the trip are the porters who ran ahead, set the tents, carried our luggage and provided water and food. Asante Sana!

This was just awesome!!! It was by far the most indescribable, breathtaking adventure of my life. Our guides Willie and Anton as well as the whole team of porters, the cook and our beloved waiter Jackson took care of us as if we were their own children. We had so much fun, they encouraged us during our way up, so that the whole team was able to reach the Uhuru peak at day 5 - with a huge smile on our faces and feeling so proud of ourselves! Originally we booked a 7 day trekking, but the guides advised us to shorten the trip to 6 days - because we were doing so well and one day less in that altitude means less stress for our bodies. This was the right decision, no doubt. The food was amazing - I am still wondering how they made that possible on the mountain under these circumstances. If you wonder wheather you should book or not - DO IT! There was not a single thing that didn't work out. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

I would love to thank the tour company team for their wonderful services. We just returned from a successful trip up Mt. Kilimanjaro with them. When I say successful, I mean awesome and superlative in every way. We were a group of 4 who booked our trip separately. We joined other climbers at the Park view Inn Hotel during a tour briefing and they also checked our climbing gear and they assisted us to hire a few items had forgotten to pack. The company went to all lengths to provide an amazing and safe climbing experience for us]. We trekked the Rongai route up to the summit and returned via the Marangu route - over the 7 days We were having 15 number of crew during the trek and that included i.e. 2 guides, 14 porters and 1 cook + waiter and honestly all of them went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable.and some of my best memories of the experience come from the crew that supported us all the way to the top. every morning began with a song and dance that energized us for the day ahead Our Guides were very knowledgeable and well informative about mountain Kilimanjaro and Also they were very good concerning first Aids [Our safety was their Top priority], while the rest of the crew was so helpful, encouraging and most of all friendly. They all have extremely hard jobs but they all do amazingly and appreciate everything! The entire journey was to my complete satisfaction. Everything was well organized and finally We made it! Uhuru peak [the peak of Freedom]. It was an amazing experience from start to finish I give them a first class recommendation

Noel from our travel company arranged everything as planned, we finally ended up reaching the summit in 6 days instead of 7 through Machame route. This company has got the best possible team. Big thanks to our guides Wilfred, Mahamod and Fratterino, we wouldnt have reached the summit without them. Also a big thanks to all porters, cook and our favorite waiter Bariki. All services were provided as agreed, our tents were ready every day when reaching the camps, marvelous food and very good advise by the guides. Remember, of you want to make it all the way up to Uhuru peak, just go Pole Pole and follow your guides. Hakuna Matata!

I will never regret to recommend this company to any one who wants to do Mount Kilimanjaro trekking or safari. My wife and i did 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro trekking through Machame route and 4 days lodge safari. Noel was very ease to communicate with before we book and after booking. We had a very good team of Guides,cook and porters during the hike. Much appreciations goes to Pasco and Regan who helped us alot!! During safari we stayed in good lodges...and we had good guide..his name is 'Mwinyi'.
