Every day the landscape s changing, so that every day is something special. Its never boring. You can do the first days in a good way, if you have prepared yourself (equipment AND sport/training) good. Just the night for the peak and the way down needs much energy. But you have to do it. You can collect many special moments for your life.

Amos was our main contact and he was always quick to respond with any information that we needed as well as being very accommodating to our needs. The guides for the trek were also great, helping us along every step of the way. Would definitely recommend them for any of their offered trips or even for organising a custom itinerary!

My experience with local travel specialists was nothing but positive. I planned a 7 day Kilimanjaro trip with a friend. They were great with communication via email and setting things up even before I arrived. Everyone that works for the company was very kind and helpful to us. They gave a very personal and reliable service that you can't find with the larger companies. They are also one of the only tour organizers based out of the small town of Moshi rather than Arusha and all of their staff members are locally hired. Prior to our trek, we met with our mountain guides to do a precheck for gear and to talk about what to expect. We were picked up at our hotel by the guides and our porters, where we all went together to the mountain gate. The gear provided was sleeping bags (the NorthFace), sleeping pads, a tent, and a dining tent with table, chairs etc. Higher on the mountain they also provided hot water bottles for our sleeping bags to keep warm. The meals during the trek were great, with hot meals in the morning and night and a box lunch for a mid-day meal. There was always more than enough food and the variety of food was great too. All food was safely prepared and no one on our trek was ever ill from food or water. The guides were very attentive to our needs. Our entire group made it to the summit and back down with no troubles. We even made it to the top in time for the sunrise, which was amazing.

Great experience with this tour operator. Organization was all perfect. Our head guide Filbert and his entire team were fantastic, they clearly knew what they were doing and that experience shone through the entire trek. Very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and competent.
