Excellent

It was a truly memorable, once in a lifetime trip. I made some great friends along the way and feel very very lucky to have been able to tick this off my bucket list! The CEOs made the trip for me, could not recommend this trip any more. 10/10!!

Wow! This tour was incredible. I was nervous about the camping but the tents, food, atmosphere and even shower facilities were great! Basic but you can?t complain! The itinerary was amazing - we saw so much in such little time. There are quite a few long drives but are broken up with toilet stops and lunch breaks which helped speed up the travelling. Highlights for me were the okavango delta, bungee at vic falls, Chobe NP, the rhino trek in matobo and seeing a leopard in Kruger! Incredible CEOs who were all great cooks! Lots of yummy food and marshmallows by the camp fires at night, this is one of the best Gadventures tours I have ever done! Highly recommend!

Excellent

Great way to visit these three countries with a variety of activities. It was the perfect way to achieve a lot in a short period of time and get local tips/info. I?m not the biggest group tour person but I know confidently that I would have never been able to facilitate this trip myself with the various and numerous activities. Specially the Delta was a top standout. I?d have loved to stay an extra night in that magical place with the local people that supported us.

Safari in South Africa

from start to end everything was beyond superb the drive although taking most of the day was broken up at excellent locations, the Petroport where a ‘taste of things to come’ in terms of wildlife could be viewed and in the pretty town of Dullstroom where I got to put my very limited Afrikaans to use the safari lodge is beautiful and relaxing, the staff all so kind and beyond helpful, Riye on reception gave us such a lovely welcome, all of the staff that i encountered were beyond kind and helpful, they truly treated you as part of ‘the family’ all of the game drives and excursions were educational, informative and breathtaking every guide that I had the fortune to meet was so knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we enjoyed every moment with them and even helped me track down a store to purchase a replacement ‘Cabin Bag’ as mine decided to break Momma D you will never be forgotten, your cooking and beautiful personality will be very much missed

South Africa: Walking, Landscapes and Wildlife

This trip is a great way to See South Africa across a variety of landscapes, mainly through National Parks and game reserves. There is a range of environments from the Drakensberg mountains to the Indian Ocean beaches at St Lucia with spectacular walks. There are long drives, over 3000km in total, in a reasonably comfortable 14 passenger minibus. Travelling in May, the weather was dry, sunny and warm, except at night and the highest walks. The accommodation varied between basic and very comfortable, but always clean.

South Africa is stunning, mountains are stunning beautiful beaches, and incredible wildlife. Food is delicious and people are friendly. Be prepared for excursions to be cancelled, Table Top Mountain -cable car and Robben Island, due to the high winds. Would have preferred less time in Knysna and Hermanus , 2 days in each place is far too much with nothing to do.. No whales, out of season and no alternatives is questionable Explore could consider more days in Cape Town and less days in places with nothing to do. My guide Christian was fantastic throughout, he gave an honest account of the history and culture of South Africa. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.
