I must say the experience was great, more than I expected. The travel team was there for me as soon as I stepped off the plane and continued to assist me even as I got to the gate of the plane as I returned home. What a great experience, especially traveling solo! The Itinerary was exactly as listed on the tour page, the tour guides, hotels, food and services were excellent. I have not complaints. We had the best tour guides especially , he is the greatest and deserves a metal! This tour of Africa (Essence of South Africa) was worth the price and more.

I've been solo traveling for the last 9 months and chose this tour with G Adventures as my grand finale and I'm so happy that I did. Our CEOs were so knowledgable and helpful that I felt like my brain was off for half of the month. Every day holds some sort of fun adventure without the usual work that comes along with most travel because those logistics are being taken care of for you. In my option, there is not better way to overland Southern Africa than this tour. We got to see things and go places that we never would have been able to go to on our own. This was a really packed holiday with plenty opportunities to see wildlife, learn about the history and current events in the areas visited. Although long distances were travelled some days there were breaks to see local markets, glass factory and local crafts. The scenery was spectacular with time for walking, exploring and swimming in the Ocean There was the chance to opt in to additional excursions or to just chill The guides were all excellent- very good at spotting the wildlife and with a wide breadth of knowledge Our tour leader was especially good at keeping us organised and informed in a relaxed and fun manner Accommodation was an interesting mixture of eco villages but all with comfortable beds and en suite facilities

THIS was amazing!! I did no research before picking and just knew I had the right group! Samantha made the entire trip feel like home (but with a bunch of wilderness animals). We were educated and pampered, fed like family and saw amazing animals, beauty and family! I have already told so many to go with Collette land and water and ask for Samantha!! The time of year seeing baby animals was such a blessing. I hope to go back in few years.
