Istanbul Tours in November 2027

'Turkey In Depth' was an excellent tour. I was particularly impressed with the Tour guide, Oz, who went out of his way to ensure that we all had a memorable time. We had two tour members with personal medical conditions that arose during the tour and Oz was very sensitive to their needs, discreetly arranging hospital visits for them while ensuring the tour progress was unaffected. His knowledge of the various places we visited was excellent and his sense of humour was delightful. All members of the tour were seasoned travellers and they were all very friendly and interesting people. We had a very good time together. The places visited were fascinating and the hotels were generally of a good standard. There is a large amount of bus travel between the sites visited, which potential travellers should bear in mind, but the bus we travelled in was very comfortable. The tour is definitely 'Full On' as described. A reasonable level of fitness is necessary as there is a lot of walking around ancient sites with uneven, often slippery paths as well as lots of steps. Overall, this was an excellent tour that gave great insight into this wonderful country and its ancient history. I recommend it highly as it exceeded my expectations.

This tour was perfect for those passionate about ancient history and the evolution of civilizations, all while enjoying stunning landscapes and modern cultures. Our tour guides for Greece and Turkey were exceptional, significantly contributing to the tour's success. They brilliantly intertwined the contemporary and ancient histories of both countries. The food was delicious, and the hotels often surpassed our expectations.

For someone that lives so close to Turkey I had no idea how vast the land was and how beautiful some of the places are in Turkey. I really enjoyed what a peaceful and gentle culture they have and the love for the animals.

Each day brought a new highlight, from exploring the ancient ruins of Ephesus to the stunning natural beauty of Cappadocia. The balance between historical sites, breathtaking scenery, and authentic local experiences was spot on, giving us a true taste of the country’s depth and variety. The itinerary was thoughtfully paced, with just the right amount of time at each stop, so we never felt rushed. Highlights like Pamukkale’s thermal pools, the mystique of Troy, and the lively bazaars in Istanbul were unforgettable, and the seamless organization meant we could just relax and enjoy. This tour gave me a deep appreciation for Turkey, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comprehensive and immersive experience! A well organized tour with excellent tour guide along with exceptional ?local? specialist guides (Troy and Grand Bazaar). Group made up of like minded people who are there to learn, understand and enjoy the well timed pace and selection of sites visited.
