Gokyo and Everest Base Camp trek Tours in April 2027

The trek was amazing, the nature and landscape are so beautiful as you can see on the photos! The trip was perfectly managed by Rajendra, the itinerary was very good. Venn our guide and Sandeep our porter were very professional and kind, we had great time together. Venn knows very well the area so he explained to us the mountains, the itinerary, and shared good and interesting conversations about life in Nepal. An amazing trip to the top of the world and beyond! Fysically do able but the height is very intens and the facilities are extremely basic. A once of a lifetime experience but be well prepared for some intense days!

Our experience with the local operator could not be any better than it was. Our guide, Dal Bahadur Gurung was highly experienced and knew many details about the landscape that we were travelling through. He told us about the local cultures, history, and mythology of the mountains. Dal was also extremely friendly and became like a brother to us. Most importantly, he was extremely professional and helped provide the best possible experience despite unforeseen weather conditions. During the trip, one of our friends had a family emergency for which we had to arrange an emergency return to NYC from Dingboche. In Lobuche, we were hit with a very strong Blizzard which had us stuck in Gorakshep for multiple nights. Despite these challenges, Dal helped us experience a once in a lifetime experience. Upendra, the coordinator, was also an incredible asset to the team. Communicating with him over a period of a year to plan out a customized itinerary, and his support during the actual trek was absolutely essential. I will book with the operator again. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and trek. What sets this trek apart from the standard Everest Base Camp trek is the part after Cho La Pass. There are less tourist and one gets to enjoy the mountains more, rather than the human traffic. Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri are beautiful and it's definitely worth spending time there for hikes and an ascent.

This is my second trip with HLI from Kathmandu. I did Chola Pass Trek this time with some of my friends, the trek was an amazing experience again. The company did excellent job again and nothing to complain. If you are going to Nepal HLI is highly recommended to travel with.

The local operator arranged our Chola pass trek in 2018 March. A great trekking route recommended for trekkers. We are mid-experienced trekkers from Slovenia, We did many treks in the past but never been this high. Our original plan was to visit Gokyo first and then to continue to Everest base camp but once we reached Namche bazaar we talked with the guide and decided to go to Everest base camp first as we didn't want to miss Everest base camp in case we get sick. No problem at all and all went good. Very good company, very helpful and flexible guide and porter. We can recommend the operator for trekking in Nepal.
