Gokyo and Everest Base Camp trek Tours in December 2026

I complete Gokyo Everest Base Camp today with my Husband. Our guide Rai was very good and helpful person. We cannot cross the pass because heavy snowing in Gokyo area. Our guide plan descend and go to Everest Base Camp from another way. We manage to visit both gokyo and everest base camp. We are happy with this company.

Many thanks to mosaic adventure, we had a very challenging and adventurous experience hiking through the beautiful mountains. Not sure I would do the tour of Kathmandu next time tho as it took up most of the day, but was very informative.

I and my husband did Gokyo Everest Base Camp Trek with this company in November 2017. We had a customized program with 3 extra days in the middle to make it easier for us. The trek was smoothly done and we had a great experience with the company, guide, and porter. The views from Gokyo Ri and Kalapatthar were immense. It was definitely a lifelong experience. We want to thank the company for providing such a beautiful time in Nepal.

I did Gokyo, Chola and EBC Trek with a friend of mine and everything was excellently organized. It was a great pleasure to travel with such an amazing company. Everything was arranged as a comprehensive package and no bugs from the start to the end.

This simply was the greatest adventure of my life so far and i doubt anything i do will top this. I live at sea level and have never ever been on a real mountain before, though I always wanted to. hiking up along the treks was not very easy for me at first. But i learned the tricks quickly with a very helpful guide Mr. Sudip. He was really helpful and advised me to go as slow as needed and to take breaks every so often. At one time he even carried my backpack when he felt it would be difficult for me to hike with it, but it actually was not that difficult, and he insisted of carrying it. The trek was usually very easy and i believe if an unfit guy who lives at sea level can do it, anyone can really do it. The views everyday was breathtaking to me. But the view from the Gokyo Ri was the most amazing of them all. I could have stayed there for hours starring the turquoise lakes and view of mountain range including mount Everest. All in all, I absolutely loved this great adventure. However, there are few things i would have like to be different in the trip. It was not easy to maintain a good hygiene as there are no hot showers except for in a very few (i think 2) places we stop for the day during the trek. So, it will be better to have wet wipes with you to get cleaned.

Trek was highly frequented but still quite difficult for us due to minor personal ailments, starting with a feverish cold (2 members) and tooth aches (one member) intestinal problems (2 members) and high altitude effects (one member). Thus the originally planned Gokyo & EBC Trek was modified to just the EBC trek. allowing for 16 days in total from Kathmandu to EBC and back to Kathmandu.
