Great way to discover Central Asia....it's history, culture & people.
We recently completed the Silk Road to Samarkand via Kashgar tour. This was an absolutely amazing trip with knowledgeable guides in all three countries. A special mention must go however to our China guide, Stoney. A truly wonderful human being. The guides (also Olga in Kyrygzstan) were a font of information. Everything was so well organised. Stunning landscape, abundant history and full on activities. Transport and accommodation outstanding as were the meals provided throughout the journey. This trip was well worth waiting for.

Walk the quieter Mutianyu section of China’s Great Wall, then marvel at Xi’an’s Terracotta Warriors and explore the ancient city
Follow the fabled Silk Road from Beijing to Samarkand on the Silk Road to Samarkand via Kashgar, a remarkable 27-day adventure tour through China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. This immersive small group journey takes you from the imperial splendor of Beijing and the Terracotta Warriors of Xian, through Tibetan monasteries in Xiahe, the ethereal Mogao Caves, and the high mountain scenery of Tian Shan, to the vibrant Sunday markets of Kashgar. Crossing into Central Asia via the Torugart Pass, the itinerary explores the capitals of Bishkek and Tashkent, the walled city of Khiva, and the grand bazaars and mosques of Bukhara and Samarkand. The diverse landscapes and ancient cities offer both cultural depth and stunning scenery, making this trip ideal for seasoned explorers and mature travelers. The journey’s USP is its comprehensive coverage of Silk Road highlights—connecting legendary sites and hidden gems—while offering ample comfort, expert guidance, and cultural immersion every step of the way.
