We had a great time on this Great American Desert trip. was a great travel director. He was on top of things. We did not know what to expect regarding the deserts. Glad we went in March as it was not hot. We had good weather. We learned a lot. I didn't know why they called Borax - 20 Team Borax and now I know.

Absolutely amazing experience and tour from start to finish. The energy and vibes of the group, the celebrations, the tour guide, and locations were exceptional. This is definitely one trip that will stick with me forever, and has made me eager to return to Mexico to experience more of their culture and wonderful people. Thank you G Adventures and Fatima for a beautiful trip!

Everything within the control of fatima was amazing! She was a great guide and I couldn't have enjoyed the trip more. My only complaints about the trip were the hotel in Oaxaca (located across the street from a speaker store and night club meant loud music from 9am through 4am everyday) and there weren't any meals included in the trip which helped with travel times while on my past tour in Asia. Aside from those 2 complaints, I felt the trip was well planned and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Brilliant experience. Our guide, Pamela, was very attentive and I learned a lot about the local culture from her. Accommodation and tours were all beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend G Adventures.

Alejandro was excellent in every way. He made this trip better than it already was. He was always energetic, thoughtful, and going out of his way to accommodate us. If there were any unexpected hiccups they were dealt with, with little interruptions if any to the trip. He was the first up and the last to go to bed. On a trip like this, the guide can make it or break it and he differently made this trip. Alejandro, you are the best, thanks for your hard work, and patience, and for making it an unforgettable wonderful time. This will be one of my best memories. The trip highlighted all the places and things I wanted to see and do without the hassle of me figuring it out on my own and I liked the fact that the groups are small.

This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. There's no way I could have experienced Day of the Dead in Oaxaca at this level of authentic participation without the guides bringing us into the community.
