day 1 - Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Arusha in the morning with your packed lunch and head for Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing. Have lunch in the park's picnic area and drive to your campsite in the evening.
day 2 - Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Head for the vast plains of Serengeti after breakfast. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
day 3 - Serengeti National Park
Start out by exploring the central and eastern regions of Serengeti. There is a break between 12:30 pm and 13:00 pm when you can enjoy your picnic lunch. Proceed with a afternoon game drive after that.
day 4 - Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Head out to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast along with your packed lunch. You have the options to visit a Maasai boma or travel through the Olduvai Gorge if you want to. Arrive at your camp and have dinner.
day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu/Mto Mbu
Descent into the crater after breakfast and start exploring Ngorongoro's unbroken caldera that encloses a variety of wildlife. You have the option to visit a Maasai boma after lunch. Today, you will spend the night at a camp either in Karatu or Mto Mbu.
day 6 - Explore Tarangire National Park & drive to Arusha
Head for Tarangire National Park after breakfast and enjoy a game drive. Have lunch in the park's picnic area in the afternoon and drive to Arusha for your dinner and overnight stay.
day 7 - Arusha – Zanzibar
Catch a flight (tickets not included in the tour price) out of Arusha at around 9:00 am and land in Zanzibar. The flight lasts 75 minutes. Transfer to your hotel on arrival.
day 8 - Zanzibar
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out to explore Zanzibar's Stone Town on a private, guided tour. See its famous spice market as well as its fort and the slave museum. A 45-minute drive to the island's north awaits you after lunch.
day 9 - Zanzibar
Enjoy a half-day boat ride to the small island of Mnemba, famous for its white sands, clear waters and colorful tropical fish. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the beach or at the pool.
day 10 - Zanzibar departure
Drive to the airport and catch your flight back home.
