New Zealand City sightseeing Trips

This was well balanced with planned, choosen items and optional. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, bus driver was great. New Zealand is gorgeous and peaceful. Hotels were great not all have ac side note. We went in December. Food planned was delicious. My husband and I went on this trip.

My trip of the Highlights of Australia/New Zealand. It was a great trip with great sights and great Trafalgar and AAT Kings representatives who were great help. They helped when issues arose for the trip and the travelers. They all were very friendly and kind.

This trip was a fun and enjoyable way to see New Zealand and learn about the country, its history, and economy. Our tour guide and driver were native New Zealanders and had funny and local insight into the people, history, and politics. I love learning as you see the scenery unfold.

This itinerary was busy but completely worth it - it truly hit all the highlights in Australia and New Zealand. I enjoyed every planned activity and we took advantage of many of the optional tours. Some of my favorites were snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, tour and later dinner at the Sydney Opera House, Sydney harbor cruise, Hobbiton, visiting the Kiwi hatchery, and the Be Our Guest experience on the sheep farm. Don’t miss these! The hotels at each location were fantastic - very comfortable and more importantly, well placed for easily walking to sites of interest. Both our guides were fantastic. in Australia was energetic and always entertaining. While more subdued was just as fun and knowledgeable and I appreciated his insights as a Māori. Australia and New Zealand had long been on my bucket list and this tour with Trafalgar exceeded my expectations!

Great trip. Tiring but well worth it to see so much of New Zealand. Driver and tour director were great. Some hotels were a bit basic but generally good. I did a same sex room share which worked out really well. It also helped that we had a good group of travellers. Just didn’t realise the group would be so big! Will do another AATKings trip around Australia if I can afford it.

The trip is very aggressive, but the sites and activities are amazing. It’s challenging to be in so many hotels however, that’s the only way you can see both islands fully. The food was amazing. Our driver was very kind and skilled. Our guide was animated, funny and made the long rides bearable.
