I totally enjoyed my trip around NZ with AAT Kings! The scenery was majestic, the commentary, friendliness and proficiency of Isobel Needham was awesome, Dave’s driving was excellent and the accomodation & food were terrific. Brilliant from start to finish. So we'll organised with the lovely Isobel talking us through the various stops , great knowledge and anecdotes as well coupled with Dave driving us safely around. Thoroughly recommend it.

The scenery and the included and optional activities were overwhelmingly great. The itinerary packs in a lot with sufficient time to enjoy it all. This was my first ever coach tour and I’m traditionally a poor passenger in any vehicle but the coach was very comfortable and I had no trouble. The tour guide was priceless with her informative and entertaining commentary. The accommodation and meals were all excellent choices. Taking it from North to South was the right choice because that left the best to last. As a bonus, take the city tram hop on/off tour when in Christchurch, it’s well worthwhile.

Marty was extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire tour. His knowledge and humour was fantastic. The various drivers during the tour were also very friendly and helpful. The consideration the company extended to my wife's dietary requirements was immense. I would recommend AAT to anyone who is considering a guided tour.

Had the most amazing time on the Sweet as South trip. Saw so many naturally beautiful scenes and visited some great cities too. Our trip manager was super knowledgeable about the places we visited and incorporated Māori stories into the information she gave us. I wish we could’ve spent more time or a night at Lake Tekapo to really experience the stargazing there. Overall I had a great time for my first overseas travel experience and first Contiki and will definitely be booking another one soon!
