My G-Adventures group trip in Mexico was truly unforgettable. I had the time of my life, visiting some of the most beautiful places in the country. I met amazing people, some of whom became real friends. The food was not only delicious but also a highlight of the trip. Overall, it was an incredible experience that I will surely never forget!

I had an amazing time on this trip! G Adventures continues to impress me, and I’ll keep recommending them to all my friends. I did the Merida to Yucatan tour back in 2023, and after just completing the Mexico City to Puerto Escondido leg, I honestly wish I had enough time off to do the entire route in one go. This tour is such a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, culture, and beauty, all at a very fair price! Even though I came home with a staph infection (worth it!), the experience was so much fun that I can’t complain. The memories, the people, and the adventures far outweighed any downsides. Can’t wait to plan the next one!

Just returned from Mexico with Intro Travel. Our group was lucky enough to have two tour leaders Jason and Ceci, both of which made our experience unforgettable. Cecis expert knowledge of Mexico made for an excellent trip and we have come away feeling like we have learnt so much about the country. Both Ceci and Jason were great fun and really helped the group gel, whilst also ensuring the tour ran very smoothly. As a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised how many options I had to choose from at restaurants and both guides were great at suggesting vegetarian friendly restaurants and helping everyone translate menus and offer suggestions. I felt that vegetarians on the trip were very well catered for. Having done group tours before, I have never felt so well looked after and that safety was always a priority and our guides were great at checking in and making sure everyone was okay and everyones individual needs were met. I also felt that there was a really good mix of planned group activities and free time to either explore independently or have some down time to relax. Despite some longer drives between locations, the mini busses were comfortable and had air conditioning and even a TV to play movies in some. There were always stops along the way to break up the journey as well as comfort stops whenever needed. Our tour leaders also often used this time to tell us about the next days itinerary or about the location we were travelling to which worked really well. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore the highlights of Mexico with likeminded travellers. Myself and others in the group agreed that we would love to sign up to another Intro trip in the future if either Ceci or Jason was leading as they really did go above and beyond. An overall excellent first trip with Into travel!

All our Friends Discouraged us From Going to Mexico that it is not Safe etc.But on the contrary we never felt unsafe anywhere thanks to our Guides who were Always around and made us Feel as if it is a Family Trip altogether. The Itineraries were Great as we enjoyed every bit of it,Because most of the Towns Chosen were Unesco World Heritage Sites and we got ourselves immersed in an experience of Spanish Colonial History of Foue Decades.

I just completed my first Intro Travel tour in Mexico and it was absolutely incredible! Our tour guide Jason went above and beyond to ensure we had the best and most authentic experience possible. It was the perfect mix of hustle and bustle in the colourful cities and relaxing by the beautiful beaches - even managing to dodge Hurricane Milton. Cherry on top was having an epic group to experience it all with. Cant wait to book my next trip!

Having done many G and Intrepids, decided to give Intro Travel a go with Mexico and it was awesome! Jason and Juan showed us great sights, culture and experiences, helped translate. Highly recommend!

Top Cities to Visit in Mexico

  • Hit the streets of the colonial treasure trove of Oaxaca City. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, the city’s long avenues of attractive Spanish-era buildings are a photographer’s delight while the collections in its museums include silver, gold, and jewelry hundreds of years old.
  • The options in Mexico City are as broad as the city is large! History buffs will adore the intricate architecture of the Downtown area in particular, while for art lovers there’s the former home of Freida Kahlo. What’s more, its nightlife spans the traditional (wrestling) and the contemporary.
  • Travel west to Guadalajara, the home turf of mariachi bands. Many city sightseeing tours in Mexico veer towards the historic downtown area, where you’ll find the Hospicio Cabanas (one of the oldest and largest hospitals in the Americas), but the city also has one of Mexico’s largest shopping malls.
