In this day-long tour, we will visit some of the top sights and hidden gems of Bali. We start with the Gates of Heaven (Pura Lempuyang), a popular destination in east of Bali. Explore the temples that have stolen the hearts of locals and visitors alike. We then head to the Water Palace, which is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang (600 metres). Walk through the temple complex and feel the spiritual atmosphere around you. From here we can also see Mount Agung, an active volcano and the highest point in Bali. Take an amazing picture on the gate of heaven with the background of Mount Agung. Next, we will stop at a beautiful water palace called Tirta Gangga, a former royal palace renowned for its maze of pools and fountains surrounded by beautiful statues and gardens. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven-tiered fountain. We will stop for a lunch at a scenic place among lush rice paddies on the way to our next destination: Tukad Cepung Waterfall. The best fun I have had in awhile! First day we did an under water walk and snorkeling (which we all didn't know was included) which was definitely a highlight for alot of us. Gili T was great, snorkeling and seeing the turtles, the amazing night life and the ability to do absoultly nothing all day. Wish we had better weather for Ubud but was great to be so close to the monkey forest. Loved every minute of the tour and would highly recommended it!

After doing 2 Contiki's previously, I was really impressed with the quality of the TopDeck tour. All the hotels were way better than I expected (some really incredible ones), and the excursions were all absolutely worth it! Our tour guide, Purna, was a highlight of the trip, with his great sense of humour, he really kept us entertained. Only low point was that it rained most of the trip but it didnt stop us from having the absolute best time! I'll defs do another TopDeck tour :)

The trip was great - the accomodation was amazing, as well as the activities. The only negative I had was that the end (in Ubud) felt a bit rushed - there was a lot to do and see in Ubud and we only had the 1 day there.

WORTH VISITING BUT SPENT MOST OF THE TIME ON THE ROAD

The places (Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Ganga, Tegalagang Rice Terrace) we visited were worth, however we did not anticipate the horrible and slow traffic in many areas of Bali, as well as the bumpy ride. We had to cut short our visit after 11 hours, without visiting the Tukad Cepung Waterfalls/Cave.
