Sailing Greece - Mykonos to Mykonos

I had such a great time. Never wanted the trip to end. Was exactly what I needed to recharge and regain life perspective. Although my first trip with G Adventures I get the impression that it attracts like minded individuals wanting adventure and it didn't disappoint. Got along with everyone on the team. Would highly recommend, and already have!

I booked this trip to continue to explore my interest in sailing. I thought I could practice some skills I had begun to learn in a stunning and interesting sailing environment. Then instead I had to have major surgery just beforehand and could do almost nothing but watch others during the trip. And yet I learned and enjoyed and felt part of things. I therefore particularly note and appreciate the generous and clever way both Mack and Phil were able to orchestrate a wonderful experience for all aboard, whether turning the winches or not.

This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.

This was our second sailing adventure with gadventures and I didn’t think we could top the first one but we did! It is all about the skipper and the group and we have had the best on both. Can’t wait for trip 3!
