Nana was the best guide!

Nana was an absolutely fantastic guide! He really made our groups experience in Cambodia. He was very knowledgeable, caring, informative and passionate about his beautiful country which absolutely made our 10 day tour 🥰 The message that was a common theme throughout our trip was that we were one big family and Nana really made us feel like we were!

Experience of a life time

This experience was amazing and so life changing! The tour allowed me to see a part of the world that I would never experience and opportunities that I would never experience without this tour. Our tour guide Nana was the best! He was so outgoing and kind and made me feel safe - especially in the busier cities. He gave us tips and advice for when exploring the cities safely during our free time. 100% recommend this tour!

A lovley 10 days on the Cambodian explorer

Nana had been a fantastic tour guide, he has a wealth of knowledge of Cambodia and his English is excellent. He has worked extremely hard to try and give us the best time. Finding excellent bars and locations as well as cooking for us with his family at the sunset BBQ. He always tried to support the local community as well as exposing us to Cambodian tradition. Thank you for a lovely 10 days Nana we will remember this forever!!!

The highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia trip was excellent. It was a very well balanced itinerary and our tour leader Doan ensured we were able to make the most of our time in both countries. It was nice to stay on Halong Bay overnight to see the landscape in a quieter and more peaceful time as it felt quite touristy during the day. It also allowed us to witness the fabulous sunset and sunrise across the bay. The overnight train from Hanoi to Danang was an excellent experience and the train was very clean and comfortable (I slept like a baby, which was unexpected!) Hoi An was my favourite place, not only is it beautiful but also the cooking course and lantern making workshop at not to be missed! Cambodia was also fabulous. It is a beautiful country and provided an interesting contrast to Vietnam. Phom Penh allowed us to delve into the horrendous genocide in Cambodia’s recent history, providing us with a deeper understanding of the pain felt by all Cambodians. Angkor Wat and the other temple complexes in Siem Reap were absolutely breathtaking. Overall a fabulous trip which I would highly recommend it as it is so well balanced between history, nature and time truly understanding the local cultures. (Also the food is incredible!)

Cambodia Tours - Highlights and Travel Trips

Grandeur and colonial charm await you in Cambodia. With jaw-dropping architectural gems, including the intricately detailed Angkor temples, floating villages, and laid-back island beaches, Cambodia’s tourism industry has grown significantly over the past 10 years. All the same, many parts of Cambodia remain relatively unexplored by tourists. This small country has an incredibly complex history to discover, along with wonderfully welcoming people to meet. What's holding you back from taking a trip to Cambodia?

Tour Highlights

  • Explore Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument
  • Visit Battambang, a preserved colonial-era town
  • See the richly decorated carvings of Bayon temple
  • Spot a rare Irrawaddy dolphin in Kratie
  • Stare in awe at the Silver Pagoda at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh
  • Experience the nightlife of Pub Street in Siem Reap
  • Learn about the history of Khmer Rouge at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum

Travel Tips

  • Despite terrible periods in Cambodia’s history, the country today is a safe place to visit. Stick to the tourist areas as much as possible. When travelling to remote areas, stick to the marked paths to avoid any undiscovered landmines.
  • November to March is the most popular time to visit Cambodia when the weather is not-too-hot and not-too-wet. July to August is shoulder season, and a great time to visit for lush scenery and fewer crowds - if you don’t mind wet weather.
  • While Cambodia’s currency is the Riel, it is far more common for tourists to pay in US dollars. In fact, most prices in shops and restaurants will be quoted in US dollars. However, most hotels and restaurants also accept credit cards.
  • Never touch somebody on the head in Cambodia, as this is considered to be the most sacred part of the body.
  • Do as the locals do and smile! Cambodians are known for always having a smile on their face - reciprocate!

Cambodia has seasonal weather so please do check up on the best time to visit Cambodia before planning your tour to the country
