Bolivia Tours in June 2026

Really nice experience, I saw a lot things and had many highlights. It was a pitty that our first CEO was not that good and caused some negative vibes in the group. The Lares Trek was cool and no problem at all for me regarding the hike but some people should have not be on the trek because they struggled really hard and we needed to wait really long for them.

This trip did not disappoint. Even when we had to pivot plans due to illness, we were still able to see Machu Picchu and so much more. We felt supported the whole way, even when we were not with the whole group due to illness. Everyone at G Adventures had our experience in mind and helped to make the most of our trip despite some obstacles. The locations were amazing, the guides knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall - excellent experience. We would travel with G Adventures again!

This Bolivia tour includes a fantastic variety of landscapes and experiences but for all of us on the tour the highlight was the desert scenery in particular the salt flats. Go before too many other tourists discover it! There is a lot of travelling and some long days but it is worth it. Julia our guide was quite simply one of the best tour guides I've had in around 40 group tours. Bolivia is a poor country but the people are friendly and we had no problems with strikes or roadblocks. Don't be put off by the trip note warnings about altitude sickness, perhaps we were lucky but in our group no-one had anything worse than a short-lasting slight headache.

Explored an active mine at more than 4000 meters above sea level, a breathtaking salt dessert at more than 3000 meters above sea level. Then decended to sea level to understand more about the complicated history of the continent, to be astonished one of the 7 nature wonders and see the jungle colide with the Ocean.

The Inca Trail was amazing! There were definitely hard parts but the guides do an amazing job at supporting everyone to get to the end, and you feel so proud of yourself at the end of each day. The rest of the tour was a great balance of activities and free time to explore each place.

There are a lot of surprisingly unexpected beautiful places and archeological sites in Peru. Our trip was in May and it was cold but all worth it! Looking forward to another trip with Expat Explore! Thank you for the unforgettable experience
