Great Trip!!!
The trails were very well marked and easy to hike on your own. There is a clear itinerary of where you should be each night. Do not bring food, as there is an excellent and ample breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. The showers were also decent and at all the camps on the W trek and had warm water. The sleeping bags and mats were warm enough, although I did go in December, so summer season. Transfers were seamless. We had to wait for the ferry to make a second trip at the end, so a one hour thirty minutes delay, and the buses waited on us to take us back to Puerto Natales. Having everything booked took the stress out of trying to get my own sites and transportation, and meals being provided saved a lot on weight. Overall, no complaints and a great trip!!
What an incredible experience. The landscape is aboslutely stunning. This was a lot of fun and I can't recommend it enough.
We did the W in on our own (you really do not need a guide). We loved the views and always changing beauty of nature: From glaciers with blue lakes to wonderful soft mountains with flowers and forrest. Would always do it again.
I had a really great experience immersing in nature, soaking in the stunning views, and getting to meet hikers from all over the world.
I had trained in anticipation for this trek by doing several hikes with roughly the same weight I'd be carrying in Torres del Paine. I also had completed a half marathon in Patagonia so I was acclimated to the elevation. I'm very glad that I had the training before hand. It made the trek more enjoyable and I was able to keep a good pace.
My brother and I wanted to do a hike in South America when we landed on this trek. We prefer to plan our own trips as opposed to going on a tour. This self guided trek was the perfect compromise. It was very helpful to have food and accommodation taken care of for us. Would definitely reccommend for tour-goers and non-tour-goers.
This hike in Chilean Patagonia is justifiably famous. The mountains of Torres del Paine are dramatically beautiful. We are so happy we bookedthis trip through Bamba Travel.
The views are unbeatable. Although the "trail" is a bit rocky, and very steep. Get well-prepared for the trail.
The W circuit trekking at Torres Del Paine, Chile is amazing. I booked 5 day / 4 night self guided tour with travel agency Bamba Experience and everything is taken cared of. It was a really beautiful trip.
The four of us did the W trek on our own. We saw a lot of people with a guide, but also plenty of solo hikers like ourselves. Personally, I don't think a guide is necessary, the trail is well marked. We went in the summer and it was great becuase the days were long and we were able to take our time.
Hiking the W Trek was an indescribable amazing experience. We hiked it using the travel group Bamba Experience. If I had to pick my favorite part of the trek, it would have to by the Grey Glacier.
4 night 5 day hike in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Grey Glacier was the best!
I definetly reccommend training a few months in advance for the demand of the trail. You will find the trip most enjoyable if you are in the bestpossible shape, as a lot of the time you will be hiking on your own. It's fantactic! and worry free. I would book withbamba for sure.
Three of us did the hike and we absolutely loved it. Trails were well marked. An overall great expereince.
Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a challenging getaway from civilization. The views are totally worth it!
Killer views, exhilerating hike, great tour company.
I've traveled to some incredble places but this has to have been one of hte most stunning. This trek offers a little something for everyone. Very happy with the tour we booked thorugh Bamba Travel.
A beautiful trek. Trip arrangements were great. Would definitely recommend.
You would enjoy this trek more if you are more of the physically active kinds. The high mountain peaks and glaciers and lakes will leave you spellbound. Definitely worth a try.
A Patagonia adventure not to be missed! We were already traveling when we decided to do this trek and Bamba Experience made planning a breeze! Couldn't recommend more.
