Chile Tours in May 2027

The itinerary is excellent. Tough walks due to the steep and rocky terrain but well rewarded by the scenery and sense of achievement. The accommodation was some of the best I have had with Explore - great location, clean and comfortable, staff all friendly and helpful. Delicious food. Gluten free diet catered for very well. Above all,, our tour leader, Duane, really made this trip. Professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, approachable and fun … he worked so hard to make sure everyone enjoyed the week. Thanks Duane!

Although we would have preferred to travel in the summer season due to the weather, everything was amazing. El Calafate has plenty of options to do and Perito Moreno Glacier was absolutely incredible and Torres del Paine in Chile really worth the visit! Both were very nice destinations. Mercedes was so kind and took care of flight changes in our arrival. Thank you!

We had an amazing trip in Patagonia. Hotels were very nice and small properties and their staff were nice and helpful. The tour is very well organized, it allows you to visit the main attractions in El Calafate and Puerto Natales. Mercedes also gave us the chance to change the regular full day to Torres del Paine for the trek to viewpoint Las Torres, which was amazing, so thank you so much for this. We strongly recommend this tour company.

Amazing trip! Eve was on every detail of the trip and she even helped us to book the domestic flights needed for the trip. In my opinion El Calafate is a destination that everyone should visit in Argentina and the visit to Perito Moreno Glacier, the guide Paula was very knowledge and extremely experience and the full day to Torres del Paine is a great option if you don't have many days to stay inside the national park. The hotels were incredible, especially Altiplanic Hotel at Puerto Natales.

My trip to Patagonia was one of the best that I have ever done. The landscapes and the people were something that I would never forget. El Calafate was absolutely beautiful, full of lakes and glaciers. Perito Moreno Glacier is unique and a must if you are travelling to Argentina. I also booked the full day tour to El Chalten, which is very nice but I would have preferred to stay for a few nights in the village to do some of the treks in the area but I did not have many days. I stayed at Hotel Mirador del Lago which has amazing views of Argentino lake. Torres del Paine National Park was equally amazing. Our guide Lucas was incredible and very knowledgeable. Hotel Altiplanico was so beautiful. 100% recommend this tour.

This was a simply perfect trip from start to finish, with a group of experienced walkers and travellers, led by a charismatic guide, Xavier, through wild, remote places which appear frequently as the backdrop or subject of TV nature programmes. The vastness, emptiness and isolation of Patagonia has to be experienced to be understood - the feeling of standing on the side of a mountain range looking across hundreds of miles of wilderness and knowing there is no human there is incredible. We were fortunate to have as our Chilean guides on the W Trek, Polo, Anaïs and Cristian who did a lot more than "guide", injecting a sense of fun even on some of the more tedious parts of the walks.
