Sri Lanka Experience is a 10/10 recommendation from me if you’re thinking of visiting this amazing country! Intro made this whole process clear and simple from the start. The support before, during and after was great. The accommodation during the 12 days was gorgeous with a good mix of types including two nights in an eco retreat on the beach! Our group leader Matt was the best, he was so accommodating to everyone’s individual needs as well as our group. He was so welcoming from day dot and helped make our trip fun and easy. He had a wealth of knowledge about Sri Lanka (but also other countries) and no question was ever too much trouble. He ensured to make time for everybody and was always on top form even after 12 days of non stop leading and guiding! I really thought this was excellent value for money and would encourage anybody thinking of doing it to book, you wont regret seeing this incredibly beautiful country with Intro.

I had the best time in Sri Lanka, missing it already! Really happy to have had the opportunity to experience such a wide range of what the country has to offer. Sri Lanka is such a beautiful country, and travelling with Intro was really worth it. It also helped that our group had the best possible group leader, Matt, who organized everything very well, and made sure that everyone in the group was having a great time! It was very evident that he’s genuinely interested and has a lot of knowledge about Sri Lanka and the culture. (Also shoutout to Sarath and JJ for getting us safely around!)

Just returned from 12 Day Sri Lanka Experience trip. It was AMAZING! I haven;t travelled for a long time and was quite anxious but Matt, the group leader, was welcoming and immediately put me at ease. The itinerary was carefully planned and showcased Sri Lanka;s places and people ... so beautiful, happy and friendly. It was great that local guides and drivers were employed, allowing opportunities to ask lots of questions to locals. Loved the activities, including: hiking, safari, swimming, surfing, cooking, eating and drinking delicious cocktails! ... and dancing! Matt was fantastic, helping the group to gel ( 21 to 61 year olds, no mean feat) and was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history, culture and environment. Safely carrying baby turtles to the sea and beach cleaning were highlights, as well as Small Change activities. Matt helped everything to run smoothly and everyone to feel safe. I;m already looking at going on an Intro travel adventure again. Can;t wait!

I just finished the Sri Lanka Experience tour and it exceeded all of my expectations! It felt like I was travelling with my best friends, doing the most amazing activities, in the most spectacular country! Every day seemed to be even better than the last and I felt so incredibly grateful to be part of the tour. I really loved how intro gave back to the local communities and hired local tour guides with excellent knowledge of the culture and history. I also appreciated how all of the transport and activities were included in the initial cost of the tour. Our tour leader Matt always went above and beyond to make sure each individual felt safe, supported, and got the most out of their travels. His optimism, positive energy, incredible knowledge/experience, and relationship with the locals made this trip stress-free and so enjoyable. For my first time travelling with a group, this tour has definitely set the bar high! I can’t wait to do another one soon.

Intro travel are the best tour operators around. I loved how easy it was to see a beautiful country with the help and organisation of our amazing, fantastic tour leader Meg. I did the Sri Lanka trip in April 2025 and I cannot fault it. There is something for everyone, the people were amazing and everyone went above and beyond to make this the best trip ever. Just finished the Intro Sri Lanka experience and wow it was definitely an unforgettable experience! Our tour leader Matt went above and beyond - he was super knowledgable, fun, organised and passionate. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and group, we all bonded day 1 and laughed non stop for 12 days straight! We are even talking about having a reunion next year in South Africa. The tour itself is a perfect blend of cultural experiences, stunning beaches and hikes, animal conservation and delish food. This is my second tour with Intro and couldn’t recommend enough. My trip to Sri Lanka was incredible from start to finish 🛺 Matt, our guide, was one of the friendliest, kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. From the first big warm hug on arrival, it felt like we’d been friends for years. I honestly don’t know how he kept up the energy through the whole trip, but he never had a bad day, he just smiled and smiled and smiled. My whole group were crackers, by the end I had a six-pack from laughing so much! I’m so grateful for the friendships and know we will be in touch for years to come. We’re already trying to organise a future tour together! I wish I could do the Sri Lanka trip again from start to finish…maybe one day I will. The only part I hated was saying goodbye at the end. After being sceptical about the price vs solo travelling at the start, I’m truly an Intro Travel convert. It was such good value for money and honestly you can’t put a price on the friendships, camaraderie, and fun. I’ll defiantly be back…hopefully with Matt, the best tour guide ever! 🩷

Gruppelederen var Emma Q. var helt fantastisk hele turen, informasjonen var superbra, hun hadde masse kunnskap om stedene vi dro, fant pa nye goye ting dersom ikke alt gikk etter planen, i tillegg til a vare inkluderende, snill og en ekspert pa a ta de beste bildene! Anbefaler virkelig denne turen og Intro travel pa det sterkeste.

I just finished the 12-day Sri Lanka Experience trip with Emma. It was exceptional. I’ve been to almost 60 countries, many of them on group tours that leave much to be desired. So that’s why I was a bit nervous to go on this tour with Intro, but I’m so happy I did! Long story short, Intro plans excellent itineraries that are very well balanced between culture and fun, organised activities and free time, regular experiences and very unique “bonus” activities (monastery visit, BBQ on the beach, yoga class, etc.). I loved it. As a bonus, there were no BS stops at overpriced shops. Emma was amazing. She was patient, organised, inclusive, authentic and engaged. She made sure there was group cohesion and safety, and she takes genuine interest in both the travellers and locals. When things didn’t go according to plan, she (and the rest of the team) were able to improvise and solve problems so everyone is happy and we didn’t miss out on anything. A huge plus is that she takes excellent pictures. It felt like taking a trip with friends rather than a group tour. Strongly recommend! And the coconuts in Sri Lanka are amazing!!!

Just finished the best 12 days in Sri Lanka. The whole trip ran smoothly, everything was well organised and all I had to do was go to the meeting points and the times we were told. Good mix of activities and chill time. The whole trip was made because of our group leader, Meg. She was informative, so knowledgable, organised, friendly, funny and just an all round vibe. She made sure everyone’s rooms were okay and gave tips at every hotel/location. Even stayed up with me when everyone else wanted to go to bed some nights. Honestly can’t thank her enough for making the trip so cool and seamless, wouldn’t have been the same without her (and her meme references). It was my first solo trip but I was super relaxed and comfortable very quickly. Anyone who does the trip will have the best time, especially if Meg is your leader!

Just finished the Sri Lanka Experience, had an amazing 2 weeks travelling around the country. The trip was full of varied and fun activities, beautiful scenery and knowledgeable local tour guides. Just completed the Sri Lanka tour. Such a great trip, it may be my favourite one yet. Great mix of culture, beach and activities. The food is so nice too! Accommodation has been good, everything has gone super smoothly. So nice having everything sorted for you. My group leader was Penn, she was amazing! So organised, knowledgeable and helpful, even for arrangements and recommendations for after the tour finished. An absolute legend. All the leaders are great but Penn has given us that extra passion. It clear she loves this country as if it was her own. Definitely recommend coming to this beautiful country with Intro.

We visited local restaurants with amazing food, villages who took us in for the morning and tour guides rooted in the local culture giving a truly amazing experience. Our tour guide Pen was brilliant and made the whole trip energising and enjoyable. Even when feeling under the weather Pen was able to keep us going and experiencing Sri Lanka as the beautiful country it is. 10/10 would recommend

I signed up for Intro travels 12 day Sri Lanka experience group tour. Im so happy I did it! Would definitely not have experienced that much if I had to organize everything myself. I recently did the Sri Lanka Experience Tour with Tom and I really enjoyed it. The tour is the perfect combination of culture, relaxation and a bit of adventure. I just completed the 12 day Sri Lanka experience tour with Tom our tour leader. It was an excellent, nicely paced tour. The hotels were amazing and some of the highlights were the stunning scenery, Sigiriya, surfing and the cultural exchange visit to the monastery near Mirissa. Tom was a great tour guide that gave great recommendations for food throughout and was professional, knowledgeable and good fun to be around. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Ich bin mit INTRO durch Sri Lanka gereist. (11 Nchte). Meine anfngliche Skepsis eine Gruppenreise zu machen ist sehr schnell verflogen. Die Gruppengre (max. 16 in Sri Lanka) ist genau richtig. Man trifft Gleichgesinnte Menschen und das Programm ist bunt durchmischt. Intro bedient meiner Einschtzung nach die L¼cke zwischen low cost Gruppenreisen und den betagteren Gruppenreisen. Unterk¼nfte und Transportmittel waren in der Regel obere Mittelklasse und somit genau richtig f¼r meine Anspr¼che. Man bekommt einen sehr guten Eindruck von dem was das wunderschne Land zu bieten hat, wenn man durch die unterschiedlichsten Hotspots gef¼hrt wird. Intro versucht zunehmend nachhaltig zu werden und unterst¼tzt die regionalen Betriebe. While I cannot say enough about how amazing and breathtakingly beautiful the country was - the real magic happened from having such a great guide! I've traveled the world for years and this trip was easily one of my favorites by far. Our guide Tom really took care of our group. Me and my partner just finished the Intro Sri Lanka experience tour and it was fantastic. This is the 4th Intro trip that I have been on and they are consistently brilliant every time. The food was amazing, accomodation was incredible and there was a good range of activities. Our tour leader Tom was great, he was very knowledgable about local culture and helped us get from A to B safely.

I just finished intro Sri Lanka and absolutely loved it! I have been solo traveling but wanted to take a break from planning for a bit. This group tour was organized flawlessly and the pace was very laid back. Because of this tour, I got to see so many beautiful parts of Sri Lanka I wouldn't have maybe seen on my own. Just finished the 12 day Sri Lanka tour with Morgan. It was an amazing tour and everything exceeded my expectations, the accommodation was incredible, the tour covers such a variety of activities - from culture, to adventure, safaris all while still allowing plenty of time to chill out with a book by the pool - I wouldnt have changed a thing! Morgan was a great group leader, always looking out for the whole group and made the experience fun for all of us, and he was always down for another round of Monopoly Deal so Im brushed up on my skills now!

Had a amazing trip with our group leader Morgan in Sri Lanka . The trip was very thorough and we covered a range of places and the perfect mix of cultural experiences , hiking and relaxation . Recent trip to Sri Lanka was incredible. Amazing locations, hotels and experiences - Buddhist monastery and the Safari tour were a personal highlight. Group leader, Morgan W, was wonderful - kind, caring and helpful. Also loved the shapes he threw on the dancefloor.

My first ever tour in Sri Lanka. Morgan W was our team leader. He is an amazing leader. He wade sure everyone was safe at all times. Made sure everybody was having a good time and is very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. It easy to see the amount of passion he has for his job and lifestyle. I have had an amazing time here and only have Morgan and Intro to thank. Also he sexy and has the best dance moves.

I recently went on the 12 day Sri Lanka tour with Intro. Intro was the best tour group to join as a solo female, and Niall our group leader was top notch! The tour was perfectly balanced and ensured we covered so many activities in the 12 days. I loved every minute of it. Niall made sure everything ran smoothly and was as enjoyable as possible every step of the way! Especially the special touches he made on our last evening for my 30th birthday! After doing Thai intro last year, I decided to book onto the Sri Lanka tour. It has been the most incredible 12 days. The hotels were soo lovely and all so different. I truly feel I have seen everything that the country has to offer from the itinerary that intro have put together. Sri Lanka is soooo beautiful, I highly recommend this trip. I had Ellie as the group leader and she was brilliant from start to finish. Such a beautiful person inside and out. The trip wouldnt have been the same without her!

This was my first ever time going travelling alone and i couldnt of had a better experience! from start to finish everything was so organised and planned so the days were perfect! My favorite thing about the trip was definitely the surf lesson we had in Weligama. 10/10 experience with great instructors Pray you get Elli as your group leader, because she is awesome. This Intro Experience group was my first group tour ever, and it has put the standards really high. I have enjoyed every second of this trip and are absolutely going to do it again. Just finished the Sri Lanka experience. I would definitely recommend booking this tour, it had the best time! Sri Lanka is very beautiful and the tour takes you to the best places in the country. All the accommodations are very good and the activities are special and fun. Our group leader Ellie did an amazing job. She made sure we where safe and most of all that we had the best time during our tour in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka was my first experience with intro travel and i loved every second of it! I felt very safe and feel like i have made friends for life. The connections our Group Leader Niall had to the locals gave us once in a lifetime opportunities to really get to know the culture and hidden gems of Sri Lanka. Just finished my trip in Sri Lanka, and it was absolutly amazing! I had such an amazing time! We did so many great things and I met a lot of beautiful people! It was my first solo trip ever and I am so glad I did it with intro. Our tourguide Ellie was amazing!! She always had the best suggestions for everything and made sure the whole trip went well! I have had the best trip to Sri Lanka with Intro Travel. Ellie was great and the team behind the scenes were very helpful before I arrived in Negombo. We have been to so many great places and activities which were very well planned and organised. I would not have had the same experience if I had booked a trip to Sri Lanka on my own and have met some amazing people on this trip as well. This was my first big trip travelling solo and I never felt unsafe or lonely, plus we experienced things that youd only get on an Intro tour such as the village cooking demonstration and the tour of the Buddhist Monastery. We have had some gorgeous food and amazing views on the hikes. I would definitely recommend Intro Travels to anyone looking to book a group tour, especially to Sri Lanka!

On my tour in Sri Lanka I had Ellie as my tour leader and she was honestly amazing! Everyday she would give us a brief of what the day included and what we might need for the day. She made the trip so much fun and I felt so relaxed during the whole trip! When we had free time she would always give a suggestion of things to do and places to eat, which were always a 10/10. Ive had the best 12days in Sri Lanka and have met some great people! xx

Ellie was our team leader in Sri Lanka and she was amazing! She brought a lovely vibe to the tour and had a lot knowledge and experience in Sri Lanka that she made sure she shared with us. Ellie was also really helpful with arrangements for free time and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy with the itinerary for the day. Just returned from the Sri Lanka 12 day tour with Niall and Prasad! If youre thinking of booking Sri Lanka or any other intro tours, do it! The Sri Lanka tour packed so much in to 12 days and couldnt recommend intro travel enough! Niall and Prasad were helpful, knowledgeable, funny, and brought the party to the bus to make the journeys between destinations much more fun.. With this trip you also get to take part in activities you wouldnt be able to do without using Intro travel (Buddhist monastery being one of the many unique highlights) due to their level of connections with the locals and places. Best time in the best place, thank you so much!

Ive just come back from the Sri Lanka trip and it was amazing, well organised and loved all the cultural elements to the tour. Also done a Bali intro trip a few years ago which was really good. Overall i have had great experiences with Intro.

Just finished the Sri Lanka tour yesterday and did the Philippines tour in January. I cant speak highly enough about Intro Travel. As I am 40 I can no longer do Contiki tours and I have been trying to find a tour company which is a similar mix of party, culture, experiences and fun. After doing tours with several other tour operators I came across Intro ad on Instagram and am so happy to have given them a shot. While there was a large range in ages in our groups, Philippines 23-40 and Sri Lanka 23-49 both groups had a good mix of people and I am how quickly everyone became friends. I will definitely be doing another tour and highly recommend Intro for anyone wanting to do a tour with more than just parties every night but not yet ready to do tours without any nights out.

Its filled with lifetime memories and experiences, exploring one of the most beautiful countries in the world whilst staying in absolutely stunning accommodation! Each day on the trip felt like it got better and better, its sad that its come to an end so quickly‚ Our group leaders Ellie and Niall were fantastic, from the moment we landed they were very friendly and helped everyone settle in straight away, they made sure we all had the best time by being so fun and positive throughout. I went on the Sri Lanka experience with Eliza as my guide and I am in no way exaggerating when I say it was the best time of my life! Eliza was an amazing leader and I never felt unsure of what was going on and always safe from the moment I arrived in Sri Lanka to the moment I left.
