You will be picked up by our driver in the morning and taken to the station to board your bullet train to Xian. Meet your tour guide upon deboarding the train in Xian.
See the Terracotta Warriors, over 8,000 painted, life-sized warriors and horses in battle rank formations that guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 BC - 210 BC), the first emperor of unified China.
Next on the itinerary are the Bell and Drum Towers of Xian as well as its famous Muslim Quarter. The towers, built in the city centre about 600 years ago, are the landmarks of Xian. Walk down the winding street of the Muslim Quarter observing the life of the people.
Start your day with a visit to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built to preserve Buddhist sutras. Enjoy great views of Xian from the top of the pagoda.
Then head for the City Wall of Xian and discover this ancient fortification on foot. You can also rent a bicycle at an additional cost if you want to.
After lunch, its time to visit the Archaeological Museum of Hanyangling Mausoleum, also called Jingdi’s Tomb. This is the burial site of Emperor Jingdi and his wife as well as the only underground museum in China.
Time to head back to the capital city. Transfer to the train station and take the bullet train back to Beijing. We will transfer you to your hotel on arrival in the city.
