Ultimate 3-day: explore Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou

Today we will have a relaxed and flexible trip focused on discovering and exploring the most beautiful parts of Shanghai and tasting its delicious, world-renowned food. In around 6 hours, we will cover visiting symbolic tourists spots such as Yu Garden, the Silk Museum, the fabric market, Xintiandi, the Jade Buddha temple and the Bund, as well as tasting the most delicious Shanghai-style food such as xiaolongbao (soup dumpling), fried dumpling, wonton, etc.

The starting time is flexible, either morning or afternoon, as you prefer. We will bring you back to your hotel after the tour.

Today, you can choose to visit one of two well-known water towns, either Tongli or Zhouzhuang, before visiting Suzhou, a city of historical significance and beautiful landscape gardens.

Tongli is known for a system of canals and retains many of the features of an ancient Wu region town. Zhouzhuang is noted for its interesting background, well-preserved ancient residential houses and elegant water views.

We will visit your preferred town first, in the morning, and then spend the rest of the day at Suzhou. We will have lunch in the most famous Suzhou cuisine restaurant. Try delicious food and take a rest to restore your energy for the afternoon trip.

In the afternoon, visit the Lingering Garden, the famous Suzhou-style garden, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After, stroll along Pingjiang Road, which is a historical commercial street from the Ming dynasty.

At the end of the day, our driver will send you back to your hotel in Shanghai. The entire trip is approximately 9 hours.

Today is a full day trip from Shanghai to Hangzhou. You will be picked up at the hotel lobby and take a bullet train to Hangzhou, which is the fastest transportation and only takes about an hour.

Your day will include hiking to visit famous temple attractions. Explore the historical Faxi temples on the way, with over 1000 years history, and enjoy the most beautiful tea plantation scenery in the hills. Try the wonderful Hangzhou cuisine in a local restaurant for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will have a green tea tasting and see tea processing in the Longjing tea village, followed by a boat cruise to see the top 10 sites along the famous West Lake.

Afterwards, take the bullet train back to Shanghai and we will drop you off at the hotel around dinner time.
