I really appreciate all the excellent services that have been provided by the local travel expert . The whole tour was extremely well organised and offered so much more than we expected with all the interesting side trips and things to see and do each day. We loved everything but we especially liked the Pandas at Chengdu, the Shennv Stream excursion on the Yangtze River Cruise and seeing Guilin and Yungshou. It was also an interesting experience to have lunch at a local apartment in Xi'an. We will be recommending your company whenever we talk about our holiday.

From the moment we were picked up, everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He shared fascinating insights about Beijing’s history and culture, making each site we visited even more meaningful. Their enthusiasm and storytelling brought places like the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven to life. They also gave us great recommendations for local food and hidden gems, which made our trip even more special. The driver was equally fantastic—always punctual, professional, and courteous. Navigating Beijing’s busy streets can be challenging, but our driver made it feel effortless. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our journey stress-free and enjoyable. I recently booked my personal customised tour of 6 cities through this company. Alina took the best personalised care for me. The communication and arrangement throughout 6 cities was with army precision and I felt supported in every step of the way especially when I needed last minute changes from Zhangjiaje to Chengdu. I'll be recommending this tour to all my friends and will definitely use Alina again for my future trip of Lhasa and Tibbet. Coming to local guides Julian at Shanghai, Max at Zhangjiaje, Shemy at Chongqing, Betty at Chengdu, Eillen at Xian, Momo at Harbin and Jiang at Beijing all were amazing. This was an amazing tour to a fascinating region of China, which satisfied my interest in the history of the Silk Road. It was a non-stop tour involving many different modes of transport to cover the large distances but it was all very well organised by our young guide Tar. The regions and towns we visited differed both geographically and also in terms of ethnic diversity. I particularly enjoyed Xian, the wonderful history museums, the Mingsha dunes, the Mogao Caves filled with Buddhist art, the ruins of ancient Jiaohe and our final stop, Kashgar. The hotels exceeded my expectations: rooms were generally large and comfortable, with aircon and free wi-fi. In all, a memorable and very enjoyable tour!

This was my second completely independent trip to China with this tour operator. I worked with Kyle Lee to organize the itineraries and book hotels, guides, internal trains, and more. This year, I chose to visit Chengdu and Chongqing, as well as some areas of interest near these two cities. I was originally supposed to travel with my daughter, but at the last moment, due to a knee issue, she decided not to come (especially since the trip included some hiking and physical effort). So, I embarked on this journey alone. What can I say? Impeccable organization. Kyle is extremely helpful and exceptional at tailoring itineraries and travel experiences. He is attentive and present, with an incredible ability to craft trips that let you see exactly what you wanted – and even more. The guides were extraordinary. Diana, incredibly friendly and super communicative, managed to show me the most important parts of an immense city like Chongqing in just one day, while still giving me the space to explore certain places on my own when I needed it. Andy, who assisted me with logistical transfers in Chengdu, accompanied me with charm, elegance, empathy, and a great sense of humor. Even though he was with me for a short time, he left a lasting impression. However, the highest praise goes to Rosa, my main guide in Chengdu, Leshan, and Mount Emei. Calling her a guide feels reductive – she was a friend, a travel companion, and like family. Tireless, incredibly knowledgeable, and always available. Seeing that I was traveling alone, she joined me for dinners and accompanied me well beyond her working hours. We went shopping together, talked with locals (thanks to her interpretation skills), and shared so much culturally, relationally, and personally. She welcomed me into her world, and I welcomed her into mine. I don’t think I’ve ever traveled with a guide so prepared, kind, and open, who introduced me not only to her country but also to such meaningful human connections. If I could give 10 stars to this company, to Kyle, and to the amazing people I met, I absolutely would. Since I can only give 5 stars, I’ll do that instead – but I’m already thinking about traveling with them again next year!

This was the adventure of a lifetime, China was more majestic than I could have ever imagined! The itinerary set up by trafalgar was immersive and thorough. You were not rushed, you were educated about the attractions in great detail and you always felt like you got the best experience possible. The optional events that I participated in were nothing short of amazing. The accommodations were wonderful and so was the food! Our tour guide went above and beyond every single day. He was so incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, organized and kind. This was my first time travelling with Trafalgar and I am already booking my next trip with them. If you are on the fence about either China or Trafalgar - I promise you that booking this trip will be one of the best decisions you ever make.
