This was our 4th Luxury Gold tour, and it was wonderful, just like all the others. We had a great guide, covered a lot of territory, and enjoyed traveling on multiple bullet trains. We were there at peak cherry blossom season, and they were simply beautiful to view. It was a great experience to try so many different Japanese meals and discover just how much we enjoyed them. The people here were gracious, friendly, and polite wherever we went. Luxury Gold buses used here in Japan are not as large as those on other tours in Europe, most likely due to size limitations. All in all, it was a terrific travel adventure, and we learned a good deal about Japan, its people, food, and how different life is here compared to the USA.

Nice itinerary that unlike others that we considered incorporates the northern portion of Japan. Downside was that we frequently felt that not enough time was allotted for the destinations that we visited. Although our tour guide would repeated say "don't rush" that was alway followed by, but the bus leaves in 5 minutes

Really happy with the tour in general though hard for Australians to start the tour in Osaka as can only enter through Tokyo. Best part was our time in Oirese gorge which showed more real Japanese customs. The hotel standard was very good everywhere and our concierge had everything working like clockwork. All in all a great time
