Itinerary

Kick off in Tokyo and wrap up there 11 days later – an immersive adventure blending city buzz, island scenery and tradition. Take a guided sweep of Tokyo’s highlights and ride the bullet train to Hiroshima, then ferry to Miyajima for Itsukushima Shrine. Cruise to Shikoku for Matsuyama Castle, Ritsurin Garden and soak in Dogo Onsen – and Naruto whirlpools. Stay in a Mount Koya monastery, then explore Kyoto’s classics – Fushimi Inari, the Golden Pavilion and Gion. Explore Tsumago and Matsumoto Castle, spot snow monkeys, unwind in hot spring towns and finish among Nikko’s shrines before returning to Tokyo.
