This guided trekking tour, perfect for young adults and those with a sense of adventure, takes you through changing ecosystems as you climb toward awe-inspiring sunrise views atop one of Mexico’s most iconic volcanoes. day 1 - Mexico City - Iztaccíhuatl, Mexico

Arrival at the Campsite, acclimatization walk, and welcome gathering

The experience begins on a Saturday around 9:30 am in Mexico City, where we will meet to check your equipment, carry the bags to the vehicles and eat breakfast, where you will have the opportunity to begin to integrate with the rest of the team that will make up your excursion to the mountain. Later we will leave for the Izta-Popo National Park, we will make a technical stop in Paso de Cortés, where we will pay the access to the park and fill out the access register properly.

Later we will go to "La Joya", the last point that we will arrive by vehicle. In La Joya we will set up camp, we will eat, we will have a small gathering, but above all, we will use the day to give you technical talks, check your equipment, as well as we will take an acclimatization walk, always accompanied by our team of guides and staff who are always in the willingness to give their best effort for your experience.

Finally, we will go to sleep around 6:00 pm, to get up at 12:00 am to carry out this experience like no other in Mexico and the world!

day 2 - Iztaccíhuatl - Mexico City, Mexico

Climb the Iztaccíhuatl and transfer back to Mexico City

The adventure begins at midnight, where we will prepare for the ascent. You will walk through its three gates, to arrive shortly before dawn at the 5k refuge where we will take a breath to continue climbing the knee of this magical woman, the section of the route with the greatest physical and mental demand. Once you reach the top of the knee, you will live the incredible experience of walking through its glaciers and using, perhaps for the first time, crampons and ice axes (a mountaineer's basic tool), after crossing the glacier and the navel ridges, we will arrive at 5250 mamsl, where the summit of this mountain is located.

Get ready to start your journey back home at around 17:00 Hrs.
