Excellent

We were very pleased. A very affordable trip to Ireland with great attractions, comfortable hotels, a hilarious driver, and the best most knowledgeable tour guide. Saeed was our sales rep and very helpful also!

Introducing Ireland

Ireland is an intoxicating mix of beautiful art and music, spellbinding natural scenery, mythological traditions, and breathtaking castles and prehistoric monuments.

From the majestic isolation of Connemara and the untamed wildness of Donegal to the stunning scenery of Kerry and Cork and the modernist energy of capital Dublin, there is a lot to explore on Ireland custom tours.

See the rugged coastline of the Aran Islands and its Iron Age ruins; the fascinating Viking and medieval collections of Waterford city; the dune-backed beaches and birdlife in the estuaries of Wexford’s seashore; and the extraordinary basalt geometry of the Giant’s Causeway on custom Ireland tours.

Our local travel experts will help you choose customizable tours to Ireland that are perfect for you.

When to go to Ireland

The weather in Ireland is most pleasant from June to September, which is also peak tourist season—it usually doesn’t rain much and the sun shines throughout the day.

It gets cold and foggy from November through February. There is incessant rain too. Some tourist destinations are shut during winter, so check if you’re planning Ireland custom tours around this time.

Easter to May and September to October are known as ‘shoulder seasons’ in Ireland, a hybrid of rain and sunshine.

Check out our travel guide on the best time to visit for a seasonal overview.

How long to stay in Ireland

You’ll need at least one week-long Ireland custom tour to cover the main historical sites and capital Dublin. In 7-8 days, you can see the picturesque coastal landscapes of Connemara, the Cliffs of Moher, and the Ring of Kerry. Or discover the grandeur of Ashford Castle and learn about the racehorses of Ireland. Our travel experts in Ireland will help you choose these and longer 9 to 14-day tailormade tours to Ireland as well so that you can include destinations such as Ballycroy National Park which has fabulous nature walks.

Must-visit destinations in Ireland

Soak in the beauty and tranquility of Ireland’s northernmost wilderness in Glenveagh National Park on your Ireland tailormade tours. Visit Dublin and its world-famous Guinness Storehouse Brewery and get a lesson in pouring the perfect pint. Halt at the pilgrimage town of Knock to see the Marian Shrine, where villagers reportedly witnessed an apparition of Our Lady in 1879. Experience the spectacular Irish countryside on the 130-km Wicklow Way, one of Ireland’s oldest waymarked trails. Visit the majestic Anglo-Norman Kilkenny Castle that sits over the Nore River. Watch master craftsmen carve marble at the Connemara Marble Factory. Explore the music, food, culture and charisma of Cork, Dublin’s great rival.
