Itinerary
Picture a ten-day odyssey through Ireland’s iconic scenery and legendary culture. From the ancient Rock of Cashel to the windswept Antrim Coast, this trip covers the very best of the Emerald Isle. Savor food in Kinsale, explore Killarney National Park, and revel in Dingle’s famed nightlife. Witness the majesty of the Cliffs of Moher, dance in Galway, and wander the Aran Islands. The journey continues north to Donegal’s dramatic landscapes, the history-rich city of Derry, and the geological wonder of Giant’s Causeway. In Belfast, relive maritime history at The Titanic Experience, then complete the circuit at Dublin’s doorstep. Designed for experienced travelers and seniors, this tour’s USP is its expert blend of heritage, local flavor, and epic scenery—resulting in a road trip you’ll never forget.
day 1Dublin to Kinsale
We leave Dublin behind and make our way to our first destination, the Rock of Cashel, known as the largest collection of medieval buildings in Ireland. This iconic site is sure to set the tone for what’s ahead. Next, we head to the famous Blarney Stone for a bit of kissing. Legend has it that whoever kisses the stone is granted the gift of gab—your fellow travelers will let you know if it works!
Our journey continues to the fishing village of Kinsale, a gourmet’s paradise. Visit The Spaniard, a charming old-world inn perched high above Kinsale, where you can enjoy Spanish Ruby Ports and West Cork black pudding. If you’re in the mood for seafood, Fishy Fishy is the place to be. As you wander the picturesque streets, you'll discover silversmiths, galleries, and antique shops. In the evening, settle in at The Armada bar or The Silent Banjo, which, despite the name, is buzzing with music and packed with locals. Kinsale is renowned as one of Ireland’s top food hubs.
Join our friend Barry for a guided historical stroll through Kinsale’s narrow streets, then enjoy a meal at one of the many famous waterfront restaurants.
