Fun to experience things with a nice group, we made new friends on this trip. The locations were stunning and many wonderful experiences. Hoped to stay in some spots longer, like having time to go through the castle and town in Kilkenny. But get that time is tricky on moving travels, overall I really enjoyed it. Milos was an exceptional driver as well!

We started with a brand new tour guide and a substandard bus. We adapted to the bus and help train the tour guide. It was a lovely week driving though the Irish countryside, visiting sites and meeting the Irish people. We were blessed with pretty good weather, a good group of travelers and an abundance of goodwill. We learned so much about Irish history and what makes this such a great country. The Cliffs of Moher and Blarney Castle were the 2 highlights. The Merry Plowboys Pub singing and dancing was the perfect way to end the the tour. We enjoyed all the stops and excursions. We enjoyed the camaraderie and making new friends. We especially enjoyed all the stories spun and legends revealed by our tour guide.

Luke was the best ever tour guide and Enda the best driver. We saw so much and learned a great deal about ireland. We wanted to see ireland outside of dublin and were not disappointed. We didn't want to drive so this tour was great to sit back and let Enda drive. Luke was a entertainer, historian and storyteller. We had a great group. We would definitely recommend as a great trip to see the sights of ireland. Loved, loved, loved!

From quaint small towns, to bustling big cities, and hidden gems on an off-beat path, you see it all! Our tour guide and coach driver were amazing. Enda guided us through what seemed like impossibly narrow streets, while Luke kept us entertained with memorable stories of Ireland's history and folklore. I have not been on many tours but I know this experience is going to be hard to beat. Luke and Enda have set the bar high.

The tour was well organized, fun excursions, and the accommodations very nice. There were more included dinners than on other tours I've been on which I liked. What we saw and learnt are worth more than a new vechile! The exchange rate (I'm from SA is crazy) but, thank you for a great life experience, I am so happy I've chosen Expat, and will do so again! Wonderful experience of Ireland

Having Luke and Karl as Travel Director and driver, respectively made huge difference and d elevated my tour experience to a greater level.. Luke is fun, funny, effervescent like a spay sparkling wine, knowledgeable like a walking Wikipedia, great sense of humor, very friendly and affable, always going above and beyond expectations.Ioved that we would have photo stops not even included in the itinerary Karl would make sure he he dropped site as near as possible to the places we need to go. Together they have great teamwork, I can call them the DYNAMIC DUO! LUKE AND KARL, YOU ARE ROCK STARS!!

Great trip! Our days were full of fun and excitement! Our tour guide Luke has a passion for history, places and people which makes him very good at his job as guide. He can bring a group of strangers together with ease and make everyone feel comfortable and included. Luke was very organized, professional and lots of fun. Expat is lucky to have him on the team! Our driver Karl was amazing and a very skilled driver. Karl was able to navigate very narrow, twisty roads with ease. I felt safe and comfortable with him behind the wheel. The Ireland Itinerary was well planned and I am so thankful I chose Expat for my trip. I have beautiful photos of Ireland and a lifetime of memories. I will definitely book with Expat again and recommend to future travelers as well.

If you won't to see Ireland this the best tour, If you get Luke as your tour guide you will have the-greatest time . I hear he has kissed the Barney stone 5 times so you know he has the gift of the gab ! Ha Ha . The hotels and food were top class, and the extra trips are all so good . Our tour was so lively with singing on the coach , and we all made friends . The driver was good and got us to all our stops on time . Get booking you will not regret it . Have fun we did !

This tour gave us such a lovely quick view of all of the highlights of Ireland. Our tour leader Luke was just the best, full of knowledge and enthusiasm and our driver Karl was amazing at getting the coach through some tight spots. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to explore Ireland.

This trip was worth every penny! We ended up doing every optional but one, and they were all very fun. You get a paper every day with an itinerary so you know what youre doing and how long for each viewing/stop. The trip feels like a bit of a whirlwind, but in a good way. Our tour guide Luke was personable and had lots of great historical and current information about each area. If you're interested in seeing as much of Ireland as possible I would highly recommend this tour.

We loved the tour. It was 2nd time on the Expat Tour and it didn't disappoint. The sites were abundant and wonderful, the hotels were always great and overall it was a fantastic experience. Our driver was VERY IMPRESSIVE and fun and awesome. Do not hesitate to take this tour!

Our tour leader Aileen & driver Sam were excellent and the tour was comprehensive and thorough.

This was our first tour. We saw much more than we could have if planning our own vacation. It was fast moving and the days were packed with interesting things to do and information about Ireland. We enjoyed meeting the many members of our group and were please that they were of all ages and from many locations. We did find that our tour bus was not very comfortable, although our driver was fabulous, as was our tour leader. We did wish for more time to see some of the locations. We realize that we need to extend our trips by a few day to a week to go explore more at the completion of a tour.

I loved this tour! Our guide Aileen was always very bright and cheerful, full of knowledge, and informative. Our driver Sam was excellent. The hotels were decent, the breakfast at the hotels were always good. Some of the stops were kinda too quick, not enough time to really do anything, but, still nonetheless nice to stop and say you visited that city, even if briefly!

Having done the IRE trip as a single guy in 2017, I had an idea of what to expect, and could not wait for my wife to experience Ireland for the first time. This trip blew all expectations out of the water! The second time was exponentially better than my first, and my wife said it was one of the best trips she had ever been on. Diarmaid was just absolutely amazing as our tour leader! He was so friendly, and accommodating, and he told us so much about the history of Ireland. Total class act! I learned so much more than I ever expected! I have recommended this trip to my friends who are curious to experience Ireland for the first time. We met others who have done more than one Expat trip, and there was nothing but positivity. Expat makes exploring fun, and what a great way to see the world! We can't wait to book another Expat tour in a different country for next year!!

very good in spite of bad weather

This whole trip was amazing. Pauline and Michael made this trip incredible! So kind and warm. We had a couple situations that Pauline and Michael went way above and beyond. We had one lady that fell down a step and hurt her leg. Pauline was right there and went with her to the hospital to get stitches. She was right there making sure everything went smoothly. Another situation in which we had stopped for some bottle water and drinks then on to giants causey about 10 miles down the road. Well I lost my credit card at the store and didn't realize it until we were at the causeway. Everyone got off the bus to tour the causeway and Michael drove me back to the store to find my credit card. Your company is so fortunate to have such stand out people working for your company. They are both incredible. The whole tour was awesome. There was so much to see and do and Pauline kept us right on track. Looking forward to another adventure with expat explorers! Maybe Italy!

This tour was wonderful, allowing us to explore many highlights of Ireland. Jacqui and Sam were a dynamite team and made the trip even better with their humour and vast knowledge of the places we visited. I honestly could not fault this experience and would recommend the IRE to anyone. The accommodation was excellent, the bus comfortable and the pace good for people of all ages. Loved it!!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Very fast paced but we were able to experience so many fabulous places and things! Our tour guide, Jacqui Connolly, did an excellent job and was so knowledgeable and fun to be around! I don't believe the trip would have been quite the same without her. Our bus driver, Sam Dawson, was equally amazing. Jacqui and Sam together were a great team! If you want to really learn about Ireland, this tour is a great way to do it.

As always on tours, lots to see and a specific time set to be at specific places. Jacqui and Sam, tour guide and driver, had tight schedules for us but we never felt rushed. We heard the Irish history and saw many beautiful places. Jacqui and Sam were able to stop at a couple of amazing sights which weren't on the tour. It felt more like family than a group of strangers traveling together. I can't say enough good things about this tour. Absolutely amazing!

We had so much fun with this tour. It's our 4th time with Expat and I have no complaints but praises to our tour leader and driver, Jacqui and Sam. We had some detours ( not in the itinerary) along the way, and we appreciate it.

Jackie and Sam, our guide and driver were wonderful. Very knowledgeable and full of fun. The programme was full on. Early starts to get to destinations early and so avoid the worst of the crowds.

Our trip to Ireland hosted by Guide Jacqui Connelly with Coach driver Sam (9/2/23 to 9/9/23). My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour from the sites visited and the knowledge of the guide to the wonderful personalities of both Jacqui and Sam. This was my second tour of Ireland (the first 23 years ago) and I feel this tour will be the most memorable due to the teamwork between Jacqui and Sam. All the sites we visited were exciting and picturesque. The hotels were accommodating and the restaurants we visited, both on our own and with the tour, were wonderful. I booked this tour as my first solo adventure and all I can say is wow! It exceeded all my expectations. The sights were beautiful. All the stops and hotels were well planned out so we made the most of each day. It was a great trip, stress free and always felt safe!

It was my first time ever travelling with the company and with a big group, as well as with my two teenage nephews on an organized tour, so I was nervous.. turned out to be an unforgettable experience. A packed agenda, yet we did not feel rushed. I absolutely loved the fact that Northern Ireland was included in the tour. The tour guide Jared was simply brilliant! Kept a full coach of very different people very well organized, informed and entertained - amazing skills!

This tour was beyond my expectations both in the scenery and the tour itself. What beautiful countryside! I loved the itinerary as we got to see a lot of the island, including the Wild Atlantic Way. The Ring of Kerry tour was by far my favorite experience/excursion. Absolutely phenomenal. Loved the morning jaunty ride and the sheep dog demonstration. My group and I did not participate in all of the excursions as we wanted free time to explore the towns and the pubs. We did the Discover Dublin and Ring of Kerry. Otherwise, I loved the itinerary. The bus rides weren't too long and we had time to explore the various cities we visited. The accommodations were clean and nice. Some were not close enough to walk to town, (Dublin and Derry), but I understand the cost increases as you get closer to town. The Imperial Hotel in Galway was perfect!!!!! Nice hotel and within walking distance of town, shops and pubs. But, the true highlights were our tour guide, Luke, and driver, George. What kind, sincere, genuine and smart gentlemen. It was hard to believe they just met that week. The dynamic between them is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend pairing them together as much as possible. Their senses of humor, wit and knowledge of Ireland was amazing. But most importantly, they were upbeat, polite and funny! Expat is very lucky to have Luke Watson. He creates such a positive and fun atmosphere. He is very professional and just fun to be around. His historical knowledge is amazing!!! He provided a lot of historical facts as we traveled throughout Ireland. I was impressed with his knowledge and appreciated him sharing it with us. I hope we are lucky enough to have Luke (and George, possible) again on our GBTOUR tour next April.

This was our first tour and boy it was absolutely awesome. We enjoyed everything about it. Our tour team Luke, George and Jacqui were amazing. Luke was so knowledgeable, funny, talented, energetic. I don't even know where to start. Expat Explore has blown past my expectations once again (we did EJ back in 2019). We got to see and do so many amazing things in such a short time frame. Everyone travelling in our party was impressed. Our tour guide, Luke, was absolutely awesome! Our driver, George, was awesome! Both of them teamed together was even better!

What a trip! Ireland is such a beautiful country and our tour leader, Luke, and our bus driver, George, made it come alive for us on this tour. Their knowledge of Ireland's history is truly amazing, and they took us places such as the Rock of Cashel, Mucrkross Abbey and Creevykeel court cairn that we never would have seen had we had any other tour leader and driver. The itinerary itself packs in a lot of sites as it is, so the bonus sites were truly a treat. I'm so glad that Northern Ireland is included because its past and current political situation is so fascinating and complex. It made my sister's and my day to be able to walk around the walls of Derry and find the Derry Girls mural. We loved the music, food, history and breathtaking scenery on this tour. Luke and George were very professional, fun-loving and made sure everyone in our large group had a good time. We left the tour with a greater understanding and appreciation of the struggles of Ireland and Northern Ireland and the kind, resilient, and warm-hearted people of these countries. I'm Irish and went on this trip with 3 other friends ! Everything was so good ! Sometimes the food wasn't the best but other than that no complaints ! The Tour Guide was such a nice man so interesting and perfect for the job in so many ways ! Our Driver was the best lovely driving and nice interesting man giving us lots of info too about the places of interest ! I highly recommend this trip to anyone young or old as the support is there for you.

Outstanding tour leader & coach driver (Luke Watson & George). Luke is eloquent, knowledgeable, fun, high voltage of energy, patient and helpful. His colourful commentary is laced with humour, insightful details, interesting facts, accurate and unbiased historical views. George is an excellent driver with a wicked Irish humour. He is friendly, courteous and helpful. He walked the extra mile to give all of us an unforgettable trip.

Excellent tour leader Luke Watson made the tour experience a memorable one. He is knowledgeable, so full of energy, engaged everyone and chirpy throughout the tour. Enjoyed his jokes and information, whisky in the bus and going out of his way to add special sights not on the itinerary.

We had an amazing time. We originally booked this trip for 2020 and were finally able to go this summer. It was worth the wait. Our guide did a wonderful job keeping us on time and giving us lots of information about the place we were visiting. He also gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do and place to eat and drink at various stops along the way. The included meals were great as were all the hotels we stayed in. The optional excursions were worth every penny, and I appreciated the ability to prebook the opening and closing optional excursions.

my daughter and I did the Ireland 7 day explorer - it was 7 days of jam-packed fun and site seeing. Be prepared to walk - there are long drives on the bus, but that makes sense as you need to get from place to place. There are adequate stops along the way. I would say you get to see a lot more doing a tour with Expat than you would on your own- but there are early mornings and some fast paced days but in the end its all worth it !!

We were constantly on the go, seeing so many beautiful sights of Ireland. Our tour guide Mike was great and our bus driver Peter was awesome. The excursions were good, but the excursion was the merry ploughboy. We would do another expat tour for sure.

The tour was a once and a life time from start to finish. From one incredible stop after another. There was no lacking in Irish beauty, Irish coffee, and Irish castles. Our tour leader flooded us with Irish history and folklore. Always ready to accommodate each passenger within reason. His graciousness for my health limitations were so kind. He shared stores of himself which made me and my family comfortable with him quiet quickly. Our driver Peter was calm, hilarious and so professional. What a good spirited man. I would never have had the strength or energy to plan and continue a trip like this on my own. Once again Expat you have outdone yourself from begging to end.

My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our Ireland tour. In one week we got to see a touch of Ireland while traveling a loop around the island. Mike our tour guide was great explaining in detail the Irish culture and points of interest. Our days were full of fun things to do and places to see. Pacing was OK, information was occasionally a bit lag in being dispersed. Inga was pleasant; shared some information as our bus was moving through various places. It was managed fine -- but a heads-up to "get in line right away to kiss the Blarney Stone", etc --- would be helpful. Some stops were tight when it takes 1+ hour for a meal, yet the tour keeps moving with limited time to explore -- sometimes had to choose between eating or touring??? It was absolutely an OK tour. We enjoyed many blessings.

The tour was well organized, utilizing the time to maximize the most out of each day. I continually marveled at how each day seemed to last forever and that things that were done in the morning, sometimes seemed to be from another day. So much was packed into the tour that I really felt I got my money's worth. The IRE tour really hit on all the major sites. Our tour leader, Mike, was amazing. He always checked to make sure we were having a good time. Our driver was excellent and was very nice to everyone. The hotels were very comfortable and almost all of the included meals were delicious. I can't wait to book another Expat Explore tour in the future.

We had a great time on the IRE tour. Our tour guide Brandon was very informative, has a great personality and is fun! We luckily were blessed with beautiful clear skies for a majority of our tour. This tour stopped at all the must see sites. Definitely would recommend this tour to others.

Great value, we saw and experienced so much in a little time. My first coach tour and first time in Ireland. Our Tour Leader Branden was amazing: very knowledgeable, very smart, very funny. He made us very excited about visiting each location on the tour. IRE is a great tour taking in the highlights of Ireland. Our tour guide Aileen was very warm and friendly, organized, reliable. Our bus was clean and comfortable and our driver Amanda was awesome!! Ireland is a beautiful country and the people are some of the nicest and most polite people you would ever meet. Our tour leader, Aileen, was easy to connect with and was very organized. This was our fourth tour with Expat Explore and our fifth overall. Aileen is without a doubt a super person and a superb tour leap. Would love to have her as our leader again in the future.

Expat Explore is well organized and seem to have coach travel down to a science, making it comfortable, fun and informative. So many things I saw in that week and experiences I had. Truly a whirl wind trip of Ireland, yet I feel like I saw most corners of it or at least a representative sampler. Tour guide Mike was fun and a good facilitator. The driver TJ was excellent. This tour is jam packed to see as much as you can possibly can see of Ireland in a week. There are times your visit at a location will be very limited. This tour would be good if you are trying to determine which cities you would like to return to at a later date at a more leisurely pace on your own.
