The ultimate northern adventure awaits on 'Grand Scandinavia,' a 20-day sightseeing trip from Copenhagen to Oslo. Cruise the Baltic Sea to Helsinki, delve into Viking history in Oslo, and marvel at Copenhagen’s Little Mermaid. Celebrate the midnight sun at North Cape with champagne and caviar, sample Finnish delicacies at Helsinki’s Food Market, and explore Stockholm’s ABBA Museum and Vasa Galleon. Meet Sami communities and their huskies in Lapland, then close your journey among Oslo’s ancient Viking ships. This comprehensive tour stands out for its sweeping coverage of Scandinavia’s cultural icons, natural wonders, and local traditions.
Interesting places visited, comfortable coach (although I’d prefer seats with backs that could be moved to the vertical position) and comfortable hotels.
A lot of travelling but fantastic scenery and excursions. Particularly enjoyed the cruising components. Would have liked a train journey included.
It was well paced with busier days early in the tour & more relaxed towards the end. Focussing on extra time in the Fiordland of Norway was appreciated.
Optional tours need to be informed more in advance for our decision. Some of them should have been included in the included tour. Some of the optional tours were poor.
The zoo was disappointing
It was full of beautiful and wonderful landscapes. This itinerary has interesting places of culture of each country. The optionals are great and completely different one from another. I almost did all. We have time to feel the views and the places we visited. I love all my trip. 💗
Huge kilometres travelled and so much information to take in and ever changing scenery however I feel it may be more geared towards a slightly older or less active group . ( of course free time is often a chance to do more of what suits your personal fitness/activity level or when optional activities are not of interest)
There is far too great a distance to travel resulting in many, many days having 6 hrs in the bus. Also disappointing was the small amount of inclusions and then so many other inclusions which cost too much. Yes, I do know it is an expensive part of the world. Such a small amount was included. Because of these factors I would never travel Insight vacations again. Our tour guide and accommodation was good.
It have you a taste of some many different places, food, experiences & people. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The history was also excellent.
