Denmark Tours in June 2026

There was a good blend of the standard and the new and unusual. New items were interesting and gave an excellent view of the local history and the local culture.

This holiday was amazing. The scenery through these countries is spectacular including all the cities/towns we visited. Our whole trip was very well organised. We stayed at fantastic hotels along the way. Our tour director and bus driver were very professional and friendly ensuring we were going to have the most memorable holiday which we did. I could never get tired of looking at such stunning scenery.

Picture Postcard Scandinavia Our thanks to from Global Journeys who did a fabulous job and paved the way, to help us effortlessly join Insight Vacations Grand Scandinavia Tour. We had a great mix of mostly Australian and New Zealanders with a few people from the US. June was a great time to go because everything was a vibrant green and with spring blooms but also there was snow on the mountains tops and the weather wasn’t too cold. At every turn there was stunningly beautiful scenery. Also our Tour Director, was the best we have ever had. He made the whole tour and the places we visited come to life with timely insights, information, music, video, and treats :) and all with a smile. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

There were a few days that seemed just a bit too long on the bus, how ever to see what we saw, you have to understand the distances that need to be covered. My only other Negative comment is that Trafalgar charge too much for their optional extras. On investigating some of them, Trafalgar charged as much as double as to what could be purchased privately, even factoring getting to the places independently. That being said, The tour, The Tour Guide was fantastic. We saw so much and experienced so many wonderful things. I wish we could have had an extra day in the Lofoten Islands area. Stunning Scenery great hotels.

Our Scandinavia trip was a joy! Our best trip ever— Thank you Trafalgar for curating such an amazing experience and making everything so smooth and convenient— our tour Director and our driver were top notch and we are very thankful to him and to Trafalgar for such fabulous planing and execution

Lots to do to keep you moving but downtime on the bus and afternoon and evening. Some museum visits are rushed and not enough time to really see everything. Especially Maihaugen. But well organized and organized planned stops on the longer driving days.
