day 1Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the morning. Enjoy beautiful countryside sceneries along the way. If you want to take photos along the route, you can tell your driver to stop the vehicle.
Have lunch in Mbarara before driving to the national park. You will reach there late in the afternoon and check into your lodge. You are free for the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

The trekking can last two to seven hours depending upon the gorilla group you have been assigned and where they stayed the night before. The last day of your safari starts with a drive to Kihihi Airstrip, where you will board a light aircraft to Entebbe.
