Spend an unforgettable hour observing gorillas at close range, and soak in Uganda’s vibrant culture and scenery along the way. day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation either in Kampala or Entebbe at 8:00 am and drive you to Mbarara. Your first stop is at the Uganda Equator where you can take pictures. Have your lunch at Regency Hotel or Agip Motel in Mbarara before continuing your journey to Kabale and from there to Bwindi.

This lush highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park.

day 2 - Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Start preparing for your big day after breakfast. Attend a briefing session carried out by UWA staff at 8:00 am. Make sure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks and lunch box, jungle boots, etc.

The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the pre-assigned group of mountain gorillas. Enjoy being part of one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take anywhere between 2 to 6 hours but is well worth the effort.

day 3 - Bwindi – Kampala / Entebbe Airport

Today marks the end of your three-day gorilla trekking trip. Travel back to Kampala then proceed to Entebbe Airport with lunch and a stopover at the Uganda Equator on Masaka Road.
