Rhineland: On this Be My Guest experience you’ll enjoy a tour of the family-owned Weingut Wehweck vineyard, followed by dinner. The vineyard was founded in 1955 and is currently headed up by the third generation of the family, Herr Philipp Wehweck.
Black Forest: Watch as skilled artisans capture the distinctive sound of the cuckoo demonstrating the centuries' old craft of clock making in the Black Forest.
Amsterdam: Cruise along the old waterways with your Travel Director and fellow travellers. Discover the architectural gems of the old city, including mansions dating from the Golden Age of the 17th Century.
Rhineland: Cruise beneath the semi-ruined castles and terraced vineyards. Sleepy villages slip by as you saunter upstream to the Lorelei Rock where the enchantress lured sailors to their doom.
Heidelberg: See the magnificent castle built in red sandstone, overlooking the Student Prince’s town.

Fast paced. Very enjoyable tour group. The tour director was very good interacting with the tour group. Felt safe with the tour driver.
Well organized. Great travel director. Enjoyed the pace.
It is a great itinerary. A lot is packed into 6 days but the things we saw were wonderful! I would recommend adding an extra day and stopping somewhere between Lucerne and Paris. That was way too long a day of bus riding.
This was a great 'taster' tour - our first. We enjoyed it all and realised how much time we waste working things out ourselves. So we now want to experience some of Trafalgar's regional tours and have every confidence the tour directors will have taken care of all the details. This includes my gf meals! Never thought I would say this but a little longer free time will be nice, on a less compact tour, to visit some places that have been recommended by friends.
It was a full on experience.Starting off with breakfast each morning, then off on our journey into Germany, with a cruise in the Rhineland. From there into Switzerland with a meal including Swiss fondue.Exploring Lucerne, then off to magical Paris.our travel director was Excellent with a wealth of knowledge from the past and future.I would thoroughly recommend this short full of ancient history tour to everyone
This was a good trip, I would recommend coming to Amsterdam a day or two before the trip, and staying in Paris a day or two after. Otherwise it was a good experience to see four Countries but still not feel hurried. For me, I visited family in the Netherlands first, and then had to fit ‘something’ into my Australian School holidays, and this trip worked out perfectly!
Pros: Tour director excellent Accommodations excellent Food good Cons: Forget Heidelburg ....... time way too short Tour too large............bus too tight Rotating seating not efficient..............I suggest moving 4 seats not 3 each day (except for one day, I spent whole trip behind back door)
The itinerary was great were it presented a taste of the local scenery, and life of the inhabitants, away from the main tourist attractions. It was a nice experience. Our guide (Graham), was very knowledgeable on the local history, which was an added plus.
gave us the best experience he could have. Paris was not my favorite only because I got sick on the trip. We had so many magical experiences. Thank you to the driver .He handled the coach wonderfully and many spots had hairpin turns. The extra tour up the mountain in Laverne is well worth it , I encourage everyone to do this, the river cruises were great and the German castles along the river banks were stunning.
Was very busy, but saw a lot in a short window of time. Tour Guide was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive to everyone.
