The itinerary was too hectic leaving minimal time to relax and enjoy the attractions. The hotels were good and cosy.
Very full on and a bit tiring but well worth it.
It was absolutely amazing trip, I enjoyed every minute it.
Itinerary - comprehensive and packed a lot in for the time available. Coach - good, near new, although some seats didn't have device charging points. Hotels - one or two good ones, the rest too small and one or two substandard. (Refer my previous comments re the Ibis hotels.)
It was a very busy schedule with lots of road miles between locations. Very informative in each area we stopped. Did give a representation of a lot of Europe.
Excellent itinerary with some built in flexibility.
I thought the itinerary was great. It was a taste of all the countries we went to and it made me realise we’re I’d go back to.
It's a taste of Europe but made it more than that
The itinerary was perfect, don't change a thing. The little out of the way towns like Innsbruck are fantastic and beautiful.
It was fantastic. I would repeat my previous comment here regarding the little church at Innsbruck being a highlight. Personally, I would happily have swapped the Seine cruise to go to Montmartre but generally I loved the trip and would love to do more with Costsaver.
This is a great itinerary that offers a wonderful taste of Europe, giving you a chance to see and experience many countries in one trip. Yes, it’s full-on, but you get to explore a huge amount of the world without the mental energy drain of planning everything yourself. The tour director was extremely knowledgeable about European history, and the driver got us around Europe safely and comfortably. We felt secure and were able to completely put our travel in Costsaver’s hands. Costsaver gives you the opportunity to do as much or as little as you want—but why go all the way to Europe and not see as much as possible? You will be tired by the end, but you will have a hell of a time along the way!
For the money I paid, it was very good value. I even think that I got so much inclusion. Plenty of activities that were included that I did not expect. Some hotels are not the best but not the worse either. But there are some really good hotels that we stayed too. Part of the excitement is to guess and imagine the next hotel we are going to. All breakfast included and I noticed that most first night stay in every hotel there were dinner included as well. There were plenty of cruise activities as well, I lost count to be honest.
No
I feel that a little more time could be spent staying in Germany. Bus driver was excellent. Hotels mostly ok apart from a few letting you down
Sometimes unorganised
Itinerary was very good. Only a couple of drop-off places could have given a shorter time. Example leaving Avignon earlier on the road to Beaune although the weather wasn't good that day. Very comfortable Coach, that was excellent. Only hotels we experienced in Rome (4 Stars hotel) our bathroom had no cold water for 2 days and in Beaune, live-wire hanging and dangling out of a socket on the headboard. Earlier trip, a couple of hotels (sorry can't remember the name) had water leak from the shower due to no shower door. Otherwise, it was a very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Hotel in Lucerne must not be utilised again. We should have a better itenary in Monarco Swiss Countryside on horse and carriage should be scrapped
We saw so much which was incredible but the down time could be better organised. Costsaver has no regard to people with Coeliac Disease, maybe one day they will realise that it is a auto immune disease, that can make them incredibly sick , something you don’t want on your holiday of a lifetime. Can’t understand how Vegan & Vegetarian get looked after, when it’s only a choice thing not a medical necessity.
Excellent value for money capturing all the venues possible within the time allocated. Well planned and wonderfully thought out with the Tour Director managing the trip and fully explaining the timetable as we progressed through the Tour.
Most of the itinerary was lovely. The coach was very comfortable. The hotels were terrible & most of the breakfasts supplied were not very pleasant.
No, some of the places we visit was good but I think you can do a lot better on the accommodation and staff
It’s understood accommodation is mostly small in European countries and located slightly out of town, I think this is communicated effectively and especially like the fact that room allocations can happen in the bus, so much easier for everyone.
Substandard accommodation. The itinerary was mostly ok and I feel it would have been better with a more engaged tour director.
