day 1 - Barcelona Arrival

On arrival at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in. You can enjoy your free time until your tour starts. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area, which have all the information about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. Rest of the day at leisure to relax.

day 2 - Barcelona - Girona

After having morning breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a city tour that comprises a visit to numerous tourist destinations in Barcelona. You will go exploring La Rambla – a vibrant street in central Barcelona that connects Placa de Catalunya with Christopher Columbus Monument. You will get to see the works of Gaudi, a famous and highly respected Spanish architect known for his individual and unique style of architecture and discover his major works like the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and the La Pedrera along Passeig de Gracia. At approximately 18:00 hrs you will be transferred to Girona, the small Catalan capital with its very beautiful historic center where the cathedral stands out with its great staircase. Evening at leisure to explore on your own.

day 3 - Girona - Arles - Carrieres De Lumiere - Chambery

After breakfast, you will cross the region of Provence for our drive into France. En route, you will make an important stop at Arles, a small world heritage city where you will remember Van Gogh and can see its Roman theatre and small Romanesque churches. At 12.00 hrs approx, we will arrive in Nimes, an important city in the Roman Empire and where concerts and bullfighting are still held in its ancient amphitheater after almost 2000 years. Enjoy some free time for a stroll and lunch. Carry on and include admission to Carrieres De Lumiere, an impressive show of art, image, and sound underground in former quarries. At the end of the afternoon, we will stop at La Garde Adhemar, a typical, magnificently conserved village of Provence with great views of the Rhone Valley. This evening we arrive in Chambery, the charming capital of Savoie, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a great castle.

day 4 - Chambery - Geneva - Gruyeres - Chillon - Leysin

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Next, travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers, and we can admire the “Jet d ́Eau,” the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of Gruyere, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (Nestle amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included! After this, we go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue traveling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in Leysin, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. day 5 - Leysin - Glacier 3000 - Interlaken – Lucerne - Zurich

Today promises breathtaking mountain views, so don’t forget to pack your winter gear. We'll take a cable car ride to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland’s most spectacular destinations, offering year-round ice and snow. Here, you can walk across the suspended bridge connecting two mountain peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or enjoy activities at the Fun Park. Afterward, we'll pause for lunch in Interlaken before continuing to Lucerne, renowned as one of Switzerland's most picturesque cities. By evening, we'll arrive in Zurich, where you’ll have some time to explore the city center before heading to the hotel.

day 6 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan

We’ll depart Zurich early in the morning, journeying across the Alps to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first destination is Bellinzona, famed for its trio of medieval castles, which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These castles, perched on the hills overlooking the city, reflect Bellinzona’s historic importance as a key alpine stronghold. Take some free time to explore the picturesque streets of the town center. From there, we’ll cross into Italy and visit the delightful town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como captivates visitors with its stunning lakeside gardens and magnificent cathedral. Our journey continues to Milan, one of the highlights of many Italy holiday vacations. Our guide will lead us to the iconic Piazza del Duomo. After some time to explore at your own pace, we’ll transfer you to the hotel for the evening.

day 7 - Milan - Pisa - Rome

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to the city of Rome. En route, we will explore Pisa, where you will take a little train to the monumental Field of Miracles to find the world-renowned Tower of Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third-oldest structure in the city's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo), after the cathedral and the Pisa Baptistry. After this, you will visit the Ligurian Coast, with some of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. Our journey continues to Rome, where we will arrive this evening.

day 8 - Rome

After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour. The “Eternal City” stands as one of the finest and oldest cities in the world. The history of Rome spans over 2500 years, and it has been a center of power, politics, culture, and development since its inception. The creation of the city is steeped in legend and mythology, and there are various accounts of how this majestic place was built. Various Roman emperors and Casers have ruled mighty Rome, and this is the place where the colossal Roman Empire grew. We recommend you visit the world-famous Colosseum (with the skip-the-line pass) and the Sistine Chapel, particularly famous for its extensive and detailed decorations, including the Last Judgement fresco by Michelangelo and the ceiling artwork. Another emblematic site to see it the Trevi Fountain, the detail of the sculptures is simply wonderful, and the whole facade and fountain are a true work of art signed by Nicola Salvi in 1762. In the evening, we will transfer you to the Via Cavour area, where you will find many international restaurants to enjoy your dinner. After dinner. Return to the hotel.

day 9 - Rome - Florence

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, today you will proceed for a guided tour led by a local expert in Florence. Our first stop is the breathtaking viewpoint at Piazzale Michelangelo. Departing from Rome, we'll journey northward through picturesque landscapes until we reach Florence. Upon arrival, we'll head directly to the awe-inspiring Piazzale Michelangelo. Later in the day, we'll embark on a guided walking tour of the historic center, led by a knowledgeable local, where we'll explore iconic landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. Florence truly embodies an open-air museum, offering ample opportunities for leisurely exploration. You'll have free time to wander and discover the city's charms. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area, showcasing a variety of international cuisines.

Breakfast at the hotel, later you will drive to the city of Venice. On arrival in Venice, you will be provided with a boat trip to the area of St Mark’s Square, where with a local guide, you take a stroll around the city of canals. There will also be a chance to admire the glasswork of Murano at the glass factory. You are given free time afterward, perhaps you will enjoy an iconic experience with a gondola ride in the canals. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore.

day 11 - Venice - Innsbruck - Kitzbuhel ( B/-/-)

Our journey begins in Venice as we head toward Austria! Upon arriving in Innsbruck, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the historic city center and savor lunch in the heart of the Austrian Tyrolean capital. Next, we’ll travel along breathtaking mountain roads to the charming village of Kitzbühel. This renowned ski resort, known for its picturesque beauty, often boasts snow throughout much of the year. We’ll then continue to Salzburg, arriving by evening.

day 12 - Kitzbuhel - Salzburg - St. Wolfgang - Traunsee Lake - Vienna

After breakfast today, we will delve deeper into Austria. In the morning, we’ll explore Salzburg, the city of Mozart, renowned for its stunning Renaissance and Baroque architecture, all set against the backdrop of the impressive castle. Next, we will journey through picturesque lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a famous pilgrimage site. Then, we’ll make our way to Traunkirchen, nestled by the beautiful Traunsee Lake, where you can enjoy an included cruise to see four of the lake’s enchanting castles before we disembark in Gmunden. Finally, we’ll continue on to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

Today, after breakfast, at around 12.00 h, you will leave for a scenic visit around Vienna with a local expert. Here you will experience its majestic avenues, palaces and vibrant city center. Directly afterward, you head to the Schönbrunn Palace, where you can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. In the evening, you will go to City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighboring streets, where you can dine at your preferred restaurant with cuisines from around the world, including Austrian, Chinese, Indian and Italian.
