It was a very rushed itinerary and leaving very little time for the travelers to see the cities themselves. The places of interests chosen seemed to be overly touristy and not overly interesting as they didnt offer enough depth.
There were 2 days that we were on the road for about 8 hours each with stops in between. But that kind of traveling took the fun out for a good portion of the 8 days.
The choice of hotels for a relatively premium tour was rather poor, especially for choosing Verdi Aquincum in Budapest. That hotel was seriously needing renovation and we switched rooms twice because the air conditioning was not even working properly, and the mattresses were of very poor quality.
Our Tour Director has tried her very best to accommodate everyone's needs and complaints. She was really good but I felt that her efforts could not compensate for what she could not really control.
