Hungary Cultural, religious and historic sites Trips

The trip was a good introduction to Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia, although we had a lot to see in one week.

Overall the trip was good value for money and we much enjoyed our very experienced tour leader, and the guides arranged by her. The travel by train was fine, but when we had 'arranged' transport, the quality of the minivans was a little below par. The hotels were average though understand the pressure of hotels in large cities. The boutique hotel in Mikulov was very nice.

Excellent guide. Budapest hotel room very small. Overall, hotels, breakfasts were quite good.

Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria were countries we had always wanted to visit and this trip not only took us to the amazing capitals but introduced to the other areas of these three countries making a fascinating and varied trip. As ever our guide Barni was excellent in all aspects of being a tour leader giving us lots of suggestions as to what to see or visit in our spare time even taking us on a 6:30am tour of Brasnov so we could see the town at its best.

Four countries, three capital cities, and centuries of tribes and empires making their mark on eastern Europe, what a trip! I think some of the pacing on this new trip needs some reconsideration, but it was a great experience. All my trips with Exodus have been excellent and I hope there will be many more to come. For like-minded people who want to travel rather than go on holiday, Exodus group tours offer so much.
