Set out on the Cairo, Nile Valley & Red Sea Resort 5 star - 10 days trip, an enchanting Egyptian journey designed for those who seek relaxation and cultural discovery. Begin in Cairo, exploring the Pyramids and Egyptian Museum, before cruising down the Nile to Philae Temple and Luxor’s ancient treasures. The tour culminates in Hurghada, where beach days and leisure activities abound.

day 1 - Welcome

Wednesday. Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in a shared coach with other members of the tour.

The evening is yours at leisure to explore the vibrant streets of Cairo, or perhaps relax at the hotel, preparing for the Egyptian adventure ahead!

day 2 - The Mighty Pyramids

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, before venturing out for a guided tour to one of the seven wonders of the world - the Pyramids of Giza. Make sure to visit the Cheops Pyramid, as its interior burial chambers are open for visits by the public. Not far from the Pyramids, you will also visit the Great Sphinx of Giza. This unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body. Following this, enjoy a quick visit to either the papyrus institute or a perfume shop.

Break for lunch, then continue the tour at the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Showcasing more than 100,000 artefacts from Egypt’s prehistoric era through to the Greco-Roman period, the museum offers an unforgettable journey through the country’s ancient past. Marvel at its impressive collection of statues, jewels, and treasures — including the complete assemblage from Tutankhamun’s tomb, featuring his chariots, ornate jewellery, and iconic golden mask.

Finally, head downtown to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Navigate its enchanting narrow alleyways and explore an array of souvenir stores. Here, amidst the vibrant atmosphere, uncover small restaurants and cafes frequented by both locals and tourists.

day 3 - Nile River Cruising

Cairo - Aswan. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your included flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, board your Nile Cruiser - home for the next three nights!

Enjoy lunch on board as we sail along the scenic river. Gear up for a grand visit to the High Dam, the world's largest embankment dam. Next, explore the historic Philae Temple, perched on an island in the Aswan Low Dam reservoir. We'll wrap up the day back on the cruiser, with included dinner.

day 4 - Optional Abu Simbel & Kom Ombo

Aswan - Abu Simbel (optional) - Kom Ombo - Nile Cruising. Embark on a vibrant day aboard the Nile Cruiser, starting with breakfast. As the morning unfolds, you can opt to relax or join an optional tour to Abu Simbel by flight. Either join a guided journey to Abu Simbel or opt for a self-guided exploration by exploring the temples at your own pace. Guarded by four colossal stone statues of Ramses II, this monumental temple complex was meticulously relocated from its original site, which was threatened by the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

If you stay on the cruiser, our journey continues as we set sail to Kom Ombo. Here, delve into the mysteries of the Temple shared by two gods, Sobek and Haroeris.

day 5 - Karnak Temple

Nile Cruising - Esna - Luxor. Enjoy breakfast on board, then set sail to Luxor via Esna, cruising along the Nile and enjoying the changing landscapes along the way.

In the afternoon, opt to relax onboard or explore the East Bank with visits to the Karnak and Luxor Temples. These iconic structures showcase the magnificence of ancient Egyptian civilization. As the day comes to a close, enjoy dinner on board as we dock in Luxor for the night.

day 6 - Valley of the Kings

Luxor - Hurghada. After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the Nile Cruiser as we check out and disembark. We'll then head out for an exploration of Luxor's West Bank. Unearth the ancient secrets within the Valley of the Kings and marvel at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Following the tour, we will drive from Luxor to coastal Hurghada. After check in at the hotel, the evening is at leisure for you to explore.

days 7-8 - Stunning Hurghada

Enjoy two days exploring coastal Hurghada at your own pace.

Choose to explore historic El Dahar and vibrant El Sakala, including bazaars and cafes. However you decide to make the most of these leisurely days, rest assured they will be filled with unforgettable moments!

day 9 - Cairo at Leisure
