Enjoyed an action packed week visiting 4 countries in a week. I booked the trip specifically because I had never been to Prague and was keen to revisit Budapest and Vienna after many years and see Slovakia. It was a lovely week, great group of people and our tour leader Borbora was exceptional.
Barbora was an amazing tour guide. She had fantastic knowledge of local history, places to visit, restaurants and made everything flow seamlessly. The trip was quite a fast pace, but always enjoyable. It was great using some local transport and we had opportunities to explore on our own. I went to the Prague National Opera, a dinner and jazz river cruise in Prague and some brilliant museums. It was a memorable holiday.
Excellent leader and itinerary. Hotels satisfactory (one in particular was lovely). Yes, had a fabulous trip!
Barbora our Explore Leader was great. She had masses of knowledge, remained very calm and had a good sense of humour. Her English was excellent and she was very aware of everyone’s needs. We were very fortunate to have her.
Barbora was one of the best guides we have ever had. Organised, informative, thinking ahead, very helpful, aware of needs of all ages, funny, and we loved her giggles. We enjoyed the trip. Orientation tours of cities is hard work at 74 and 76 when it is hot, but Barbara was helpful with cutting some corners to reduce walking and also to help us when we were out on our own.Her tips were very helpful and she made great recommendations for all the members of the group.
This was a wonderful tour, included places with significant history but also places with local cultural importance-and guides providing all important information.. There was also spontaneous visits for strudel’s and recommendations to excellent local restaurants. Our fantastic tour leader, Csilla, gave us all the necessary travel info to get us going every day for easier travel and managed/adapted unexpected delays. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Budapest to Prague with Csilla was amazing from start to finish!
Tour leader Barbora excelled
Good tour which provided a “taster” experience of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Prague. I plan to make further 2-3 day city break visits to some of these cities in the future.
