China: fantastic trip, saw the sites, are good food, learned, Howard was top notch, pace and transport was perfect and all well-timed Japan: Hidemi was great but there was too much trudging in the rail / metro system. Koyasan and Hakone were not worth it in my opinion for the amount of work it took to get there.

I loved this tour. It's a whirlwind through China and Japan so you just skim the surface of both but it's such a good introduction to the countries. Going from the Great Wall, to the Terracotta Warriors, to onsens and Tokyo is just incredible!

Excellent trip, CEO's were terrific, the express style suited my circumstances but just makes me want to come back again. Train transportation is perfect and so easy.

Truly unforgettable experience, and I can totally see why so many people on the tour had used G Adventures before. I will certainly be booking another one!

Brilliant our overall. The Japan leg of the tour was too busy at times but doable.

Overall this is an excellent trip. I truly enjoyed seeing the sites, participating in the activities, and engaging with the CEOs. Overall it is well-planned, providing an excellent blend of learning and experiencing local culture while still being a vacation.
