Knowledgeable guides, excellent tour director and coach driver. I only wish they could have focused either on WWI or WWIi. I would also have liked seeing a concentration camp.
Well spaced. Organized. Educational. Lovely hotels. Great breakfasts. My only complaint was that a few days lunch was much too delayed and rushed. If up early - on bus by 8:00 which means breakfast was by 7:00 - we need to have a stop for lunch by 11:30 or 12:00 and an hour to enjoy it. The day we travelled by Eurostar to Brussels we should upon arrival immediately have had a lunch stop. No one enjoyed walking the streets of Brussels with a local guide upon arrival. We had 7 hours between getting up that morning and having a break. Enjoyed the walk with our own travel director after dinner that evening.
Interesting stops but a bit too much on WW I. Tour of Quarry too long & too much standing. No place for a break. Enjoyed Normandy & Minen Gate very much. Our tour director was awesome! He listened to us & adjusted as he could to accommodate everyone. Loved the very small group size!
