Albania City sightseeing Trips

This is the first year for this holiday, so tweaks need to be made. The first walk seemed rather pointless and there were so many mosquitoes we couldn't stop to eat our packed lunch. Albi our leader changed the order of certain elements and thereby improved the offering. Some of the walks were really great. It was the last trip of the season and in the quieter seaside resorts just about everything was closed. Before attracting more tourists Albania needs to address single use plastics, litter, public toilets, planning; please don't make the mistakes of other countries. But people were friendly and helpful.

This was the toughest cycling I’d done in a while. An e-bike would have made it more enjoyable for me. I misjudged my fitness vs the described difficulty. Albania is historic, scenic, and most worthy to visit. Very interesting experience for me. Mountains, seaside, ancient sites

Early September in Albania was too hot for walking! It was also very humid on some of the walks, particularly day 1. I enjoyed the coastal walks with opportunity to swim on more remote beaches. Our guide Besi was fantastic. He was well organised and good fun. He took us to some great places to eat.

This trip was amazing and it was a good balance of beaches and mountains. There were also a lot of things included such as farm dinners which was nice compared to past trips I’ve been on. We also stayed in hotels this trip and all of the hotels were exceptional. I think this was the best way to get around Albania, which is up and coming and see what the country has to offer. Also going into Kosovo was a plus because I would have never went there and if it wasn’t for this Contiki and even though we were only there for a couple hours, the capital is really nice and charming. It was above my expectations and I would definitely do this trip again.

Everyone i talked to on the trip said this was the best contiki theyve done. This tour is worser for nightlife and party vibes but perfect for relaxing beach vibes.

A fantastic journey across a fascinating part of the world. Albania is an emerging destination and will be a big name in tourism in a few years. The country blends spectacular scenery with complex history. There's something surreal about visiting a wine-farm sown with Cold-War era bunkers or seeing a Mosque and Cathedral on the same block. It is this blend of cultures which make the country so worthwhile to visit.
