day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup in Arusha at 8:00am, then depart for Tarangire National Park after breakfast. As Tanzania’s third-largest national park, Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and dense populations of herbivores.
Beyond wildlife, the park is also known for its striking baobab trees, which dominate the landscape. The Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, attracts a constant flow of animals throughout the day, bringing both predators and prey together and creating excellent game-viewing opportunities.
After a full day on safari, continue to a public campsite for a refreshing shower, dinner, and an overnight stay. Full-board meals are included.
