A bit rushed, but good. Would have liked a bit more free time. All hotels were excellent, except Alex resort in Zermatt. Poor pillows and bed. Breakfasts were excellent. Can't say enough good things about tour director or driver .

I need to place on record that I experienced considerable difficulty with my booking at the local Trafalgar Offices in Johannesburg. Emails were never answered by the same agent and the contents were not being read and understood as the replies I received from various employees were inadequate and erroneous :(. It was clear that the people I was dealing with were incompetent / inexperienced / and / or had not received adequate training. It made me very nervous and stressed about the booking and I actually considered cancelling. My concerns were eventually escalated to and at that office and thankfully was amazing in assisting me from there on :).
However, this was my 5th Trafalgar Tour over many years and, once again, it was expertly planned and executed by Trafalgar. , our Tour Director, was extremely patient, professional, informative, organized and helpful. The logistics of moving so many people (and their luggage) around safely and securely must be a nightmare. A Tour Director's job can't be easy but is clearly passionate about her work and she does it with a smile, a spring in her step and a lovely sense of humour. She is simply amazing. We saw and experienced so much in such a short space of time and could never have done this on our own. I can only describe the scenery as spectacular, indescribable and unforgettable. Trafalgar really take the stress out of travel. Thank you to and Trafalgar! :)

Hotel stay Campanille in Paris was not nice. It was a small accommodation with poor service and facilities. As for the circuit hunting for Indian food in an unknown country was a big problem especially with children. Care must be taken to ensure that people are stopped at good restaurants for food.

Travel by the comfortable bus was very good experience to have the feel of the countries visited especially the countryside and the scenic beauty of the countryside. The itinerary was very good given the time constraints.
Walking high in the mountains on the Bernese Highlights West offers a more challenging route than the Bernese Highlights East. Amazing views are the reward for your efforts and at every turn in the way you will be greeted by some of the most dramatic mountain scenery to be found in Switzerland - if not the whole of Europe. However, if you wish to opt out of any day's walk or should inclement weather descend, it is possible to travel between all overnight stops by public transport.
Starting in perhaps the most beautiful village in the Bernese Oberland, perched high up above the Lauterbrunnen Valley is Murren. Above Murren rises the great peak of the Schilthorn, with its revolving restaurant made famous by James Bond. Walk up and over the high pass of Sefinenfurgge and continue to the remote valley of Griesalp, set against the backdrop of the Bluemlisalp massif. Continue through the Hohturli pass where views are utterly magnificent! Get up close to a number of glaciers in addition to the turquoise waters of Lake Oeschinensee in its stunning setting above Kandersteg. Set within the beautiful Kander valley, Kandersteg is home to an extraordinary amount of diverse Alpine flowers. Follow stunning mountain paths with incredible panoramic views before descending into the mountain village of Adelboden for the night. Another mountain pass awaits you as you head over to Lenk across scenic alpine meadows. Finally, you cross Trutlisbergpass, then down the valley to Gstaad, which despite being known for its prestige has remained truly Alpine.
