What can you do in a month? Oh you know, just see some of the absolute best parts of Europe on a 30-day, hostel-based adventure from Amsterdam to Corfu, that’s all. Sound good to you? Then let’s get going. On the first leg of your trip, you’ll visit Berlin before heading to Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg, soaking up art, architecture, and the best views ever along the way. Next up, the Alps! Experience the colourful charm of Innsbruck and the baffling beauty of Lake Misurina, then venture further into Italy for flavour-filled days in Rome, Florence, and Tuscany. Croatia comes after, including a stop in Dubrovnik (the real-life King’s Landing) before road tripping into Montenegro and Albania for a tour of a medieval fortress and beachfront hangouts. Finally, catch the ferry to Corfu for one epic final day.
This trip is perfect if you want to really smash out Europe, safely experience Egypt and if you haven’t travelled much. We got to see so many amazing places and now I have a great idea of where I would go back to. Yes it is very fast paced and you wont do everything you want to but you do 95% of the main attractions of each place and you have people to share the experiences with. You will 100% make friends on these trips if you solo traveler :)
I would highly recommend G Adventures for your next trip if you're looking to meet great people and see some cool places and don't want to worry about planning. I will definitely be doing another trip in the near future!
Krakow & Ljubljana sound familiar? Probably not. That's because the Vienna to Rome Trail is about blazing a new trail. But just to keep things interesting we sandwich the obscure between hotspots like Venice & Vienna. It doesn't get much better than 9 brimming days to explore a lot of Europe.
East meets West on this 10 day trip through the distinctly cool, modern vibes & rich history of Europe's capital cities and lesser-known gems. From the one & only Berlin alongside Prague, Amsterdam, Salzburg, Verona, Venice, Rome & more, we’ll flutter from tasting locally-distilled schnaps at an alpine farm, to personal guided tours through royal castles, to private cruises along the iconic canals & islands of Venice, to nights out in eclectic clubs filled with hipster locals, staying in centrally located hostels all the way.
The perfect mix of seasides and cities, the Barcelona to London Quest kicks off in Barcelona, skirting the Mediterranean Sea before heading up through the middle of Italy and on to Eastern Europe, winding up in London after a perfectly balanced adventure.
It was a short life changing experience that gave me the opportunity to see the world and make new friends from all over the world. It was a great introduction for world traval. Perfect for someone who is new to traveling.
Beginning in Germany and ending in Italy, this 15-day trip hits a whopping seven countries. Joining other solo travellers, you’ll see historic landmarks, medieval squares, hilltop castles, romantic canals and thriving nightlife as you make memories with new friends that last a lifetime. Beginning in Europe’s alt-capital, Berlin, walk the ‘Royal Route’ in Krakow, soak up the terracotta views of Prague and Cesky Krumlov, be charmed by picturesque Lake Bled and finish up among the postcard-perfect canals of Venice. Uncover local secrets with your leader and explore at your own pace, making the most of all the optional activities that you want to do. The best part? You’ll be doing it all with like-minded young travellers who want to travel Central Europe in the same way.
With almost 200 countries in the world to tick off your list, time is precious. Smashing 11 in one trip should really get things moving. Eat Trdelnik in Prague, soak in thermal baths in Budapest & party round the clock in Berlin. Cities, culture, history & scenery are on the cards for the Trail to Rome.
The trip was awesome! Got to stay for 2 nights in most of the places we went which was good as it felt more relaxed while we were on the trip, however you keep finding that it's never enough time in certain places, so it is a good taster for seeing different cities and figuring out places you would like to see more of later. We did all find that we got sick during the trip, because of the time spent together in the coach and the constant late nights and early mornings so watch out for that.
