This trip was a dream! From the Colosseum in Rome to the stunning Swiss Alps and the magic of Paris, every stop felt like a fairytale. Well-organized, great guides, and plenty of time to explore on our own!
Good introductory cross-section in major cities. Good balance of scheduled vs. free time. Would like a little more emphasis on art--especially Uffizi Gallery and Pisan Camposanto--plus entry into St. Mark's/Doge's Palace and Duomo church (rather than some of the shopping stuff). A little too much commercial, too little history/art. (Some of guides under-informed, including one who said Galileo discovered the "two planets" around Jupiter!).

This was our first time to Europe and it did not disappoint! Right from day 1 the fun started! Jared was our tour leader, if you ever get the chance to tour with him, you are lucky. He was fantastic!!! His knowledge of the places we stopped was expansive and he made it interesting to learn the history! Florentin our driver was a rock for us! He got us safely to our destinations and always had a smile on his face! We forged friendships on this tour that made this the most memorable trip! We laughed a lot !!! I took this tour with my family, including my two teenagers, and we all had a blast! The tour was well-paced with a mix of guided activities and free time, which was great for us. My kids loved the visit to Pompeii—they’ve been fascinated by it since learning about it in school. The gondola ride in Venice was another highlight that we all enjoyed. The hotels were family-friendly, and our guide, Sergio, was wonderful with the kids, keeping them engaged throughout. I’d highly recommend this tour for families wanting to explore Italy together.

Tiring specially the bus from Switzerland to paris.
It was quite old bus not comfortable, very cold inside guess the air-conditioning had issues. And the driver was not to sure about the road changing directions and driving slowly. This was the biggest bemol during this trip.
Our family of 5 adults recently went to Italy on a 9 day trip to Venice, Rome and Sorrento(Amalfi Coast) with private tours, fast train travel, door to door drivers, and great accommodations; which was all set up by Michael.
Michael was very responsive to my communications, very helpful with trip suggestions to make the trip better, and just overall a great travel planner! I was nervous at first, because I have never completely booked a vacation online without ever meeting the travel planner, but it all worked out great!
We were completely happy with everything about our trip, and will definitely reach out to Michael again when we travel to Italy! There were a couple of small issues that arose over the duration of the trip, but they were handled quickly and without further problem to us. So all was good.
Our private tour guides in Rome, Ornella; and Roberta in Pompeii were incredible. Our Venice tour guide, Cynthia, was awesome too, she did a great job! We did a full day 8 hr tour in Rome of the Colosseum and Vatican, and I would recommend splitting that to two half days if you have the time. It was awesome, but a bit much for one day!! Also, we had a full day Amalfi Coast tour by van, with great driver Antonio, which was supposed to go to Positano, Amalfi, & Ravello, but because the traffic is so bad on the roads, there wasn't time to make it to Ravello. So, I recommend either going by boat, which we hear is faster, or allow more time if you want to see all three villages.
