This was our first trip as a family (ages ranging from 13 to 79) and I was nervous beforehand whether we would fit into a group of strangers who may not wish to travel w 2 teens.
I need not have worried! The kids had a great time, grandma made friends without us and the entire group as well as Toru has become "family" at the end of the tour.
An amazing way to experience Japan in a short trip for your first time. Being able to meet people all over the world and share the experience was perfect. For the price and freedom to explore when not busy was worth every cent. Almost overwhelming how much you get to see and do in the prettiest place in the world. Felt safe and if I needed anything my guide was able to help. Met so many amazing people that I consider valued friends in just 10 days of fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Very informative and fast paced. I believe following the tour we had a much better understanding of the Japanese including some of their customs and their way of life. Having an excellent tour guide like we had made the entire tour worthwhile.

Great experience! We saw wonderful parts of Japan, including Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, and Hiroshima. The hotels were wonderful! Our travel director was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My advice to Trafalgar is to reduce the number of visits to temples and shrines. Maybe allow more free time. Also, there were too many set Japanese meals with no options.

He really made my trip special. He deserves the title of best guide ever. The highlight was the geisha entertaining experience, a must in Kyoto. I am definetely signing up for another trip. Trafalgar was a good choice for our dream vacation to Japan. Our guide, Her name was , forgive me if I spelt her name incorrectly was wonderful. She was professional, friendly and very patient with her customers. the hotels and bus companies all were quite up to the task. very satisfied with the trip.
