I am still in the afterglow of my trip to Japan. It was busy but enough free time to not be overwhelmed. Scenically it was great. A bit of cultural music and dance in the itinerary would have been nice even if it was as optional experience.

The process from finding the tour we wanted to take to getting set up for the tour was an easy process. The other reviews we saw gave us the security of using their website to book our trip. The only item we missed which would have given a 5* was the trip did not include see the Alps up close or a train trip. Well maybe next time there may be one and we would definitely take that trip.

Trafalgar Tour of Japan: my impressions:
Excellent itinerary & hotels
Some of the meals were great. Others not so.
Trafalgar welcome meeting was poorly organised on day 1.
No real introduction by Tour guide.
No Trafalgar kit pack : used to getting a kit bag from all the other travel companies.
Day to day programme was not outlined until the last minute.
Tour guide was not prepared for the tour sites . Not very knowledgeable.
A whatapp tour group would have be useful if set up on day one & not on the last day.
Guide Did not keep track of all in the people tour group. Left one gentleman behind on the first day.Guide would also leave people & wonder off , leaving people to run after .
Guide Did not check with each person whether everyone eat raw egg or fish . Was only done after the fact whilst at the restaurant. This created quite a bit of chaos with restaurant chef & management.
Trafalgar needs to seriously do something about their tour guides given the cost of the tour.
Hope this helps

I really enjoy the trip but it was way too short for all that there is to see. It should at least be extended by 2 to 3 more days. Culture and people are great , food is so so as far as I am concerned, but I have to admit that I am allergic to fish. Flowers and gardens at its best. Too many temples to visit
